Baltimore enters Sunday’s matchup as an 8.5-point favorite at M&T Bank Stadium, where kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sept. 20.
My Saints vs. Ravens predictions focus on whether New Orleans can hang around against a stronger Baltimore defense and whether both teams can cool off after high-scoring Week 1 games.
I break down my early NFL picks for Week 2 below.

Early Saints vs Ravens spread pick: Ravens -8.5
I'm cool with buying the Baltimore Ravens up to -9.5 because the market is giving too much respect to the New Orleans Saints for their cover as +7 underdogs in a 31-30 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions last week.
New Orleans was trailing 21-0 against Detroit in the second half before Saints QB Tyler Shough threw them back into the game. However, Baltimore has a much better secondary, featuring All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton, and the Lions are missing their two best defensive backs, Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch.
Plus, the Ravens had the highest pressure rate in the NFL last week in their 42-23 beatdown of the Indianapolis Colts. If Shough has to drop back to pass 50+ times vs. the Ravens like he did last week, that's a game script that favors Baltimore covering this number. Either Shough won't have enough time to throw, or his receivers won't create as much separation.

Early Saints vs Ravens total pick: Under 46.5
I feel stronger about Baltimore ATS, but I'd entertain the Under down to 45.5 as a fade of last week's results. The Saints' and Ravens' Week 1 games got into the 60s, and typically it's wise to fade what you just saw when handicapping the NFL.
Also, Ravens first-year head coach Jesse Minter was the Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator from 2024-25, and I'm expecting Baltimore's defense to improve once it learns Minter's scheme because it has All-Pros on all three levels.
New Orleans gained just 3.6 yards per rush last week vs. Detroit's defense, which ranked just 21st last season in yards per carry allowed. That said, Baltimore will bleed the clock with its rushing attack and take away NOLA's ground game.
