NFL Week 1 delivers an incredible nightcap for the first Sunday of the season as the Buffalo Bills host the Baltimore Ravens.

My Ravens vs. Bills predictions and NFL picks expect big things from Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson through the air on Sunday, September 7.

Ravens vs Bills prediction

Ravens vs Bills Best bet: Lamar Jackson Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-114)

Lamar Jackson lit up scoreboards in 2024, finishing with a career high of 41 passing touchdowns. He continued to evolve in Todd Monken’s offense, also seeing a surge in pass attempts and yardage.

In fact, Jackson passed for two or more touchdowns in all but five games last season and doubled up on TDs in both meetings with the Buffalo Bills, including the divisional round matchup.

Monken has given Jackson even more control over this passing attack in Year 3, and with injuries to key run blockers like fullback Patrick Ricard and tight end Isaiah Likely, Baltimore may have to shy away from their running sets and lean more on the air attack.

That could be bad news for the Bills, who are dealing with a shuffle in their secondary.

Buffalo lost rookie corner Maxwell Hairston to injury this summer, and both Tre'Davious White and Christian Benford are nursing groin injuries heading into Week 1. The situation in the secondary is so shaky, the Bills brought back veteran safety Jordan Poyer, who was sitting on the couch all summer.

Buffalo is coming off a season in which they allowed 1.6 passing touchdowns per game and ranked middle of the road in red zone defense. The Baltimore Ravens, on the other hand, were the No. 1 RZ offense in the land, and 31 of Jackson’s 41 passing touchdowns came inside the 20-yard line.

Week 1 forecasts for Lamar sit between 1.7 and 1.8 passing touchdowns on Sunday night. This prop market has run as high as Over 1.5 -140 at some sportsbooks, but you can get the same bet at -114 at FanDuel.

Ravens vs Bills SNF same-game parlay

There were only five games in 2024 — regular season and playoffs — in which Lamar failed to throw for multiple touchdowns. He eats up a thinning Buffalo secondary for scoring strikes.

Josh Allen always leans on his legs against top-tier competition and rumbled for a total of 14 rushing touchdowns in 2024. He scored two on the ground in the divisional round win over the Ravens.

The Ravens opened as underdogs in this game, but with injuries to the Bills' secondary, these odds have jumped the fence. Baltimore is the better two-way team on Sunday night.

Our big-ticket SGP: Quarterbacks lead the way

  • Allen loves to call his own number in big games.
  • King Henry is always a live TDAT option and scored in both meetings with Buffalo.
  • The Ravens' defense continues to be one of the best in the NFL, anchoring this win.

Ravens vs Bills moneyline prediction

I don’t buy into the revenge angle for the Ravens or Lamar Jackson. What I do believe is that Baltimore is the best two-way team in football, and the Bills still have work to do in Week 1. I could see the Ravens winning this one with a score of 30-24.

Ravens vs Bills odds

    • Spread: Baltimore +1.5 | Buffalo -1.5
    • Moneyline: Baltimore +105 | Buffalo -115
    • Over/Under: Over 52.5 | Under 52.5
