The Las Vegas Raiders have shown they can move the football, averaging 26.4 points per game compared to just 19.6 for the New York Jets. Boasting the league's fourth-best passing attack, Las Vegas has what it takes to pull off the upset as a slight underdog.

If the Las Vegas Raiders have shown us one thing this year, it's that they can put points on the board, and we're riding with them in my Raiders vs. Jets prediction.

The wrong team is favored in this one, and with the Jets laying 1.5 points at MetLife Stadium, I'll look to Kirk Cousins and his offense to get the job done.

Early Raiders vs Jets spread pick: Raiders +1.5

The Las Vegas Raiders have shown they can move the football, averaging 26.4 points per game compared to just 19.6 for the New York Jets.

Las Vegas owns the league's fourth-best passing attack (14th in EPA per play), throwing for nearly 270 yards per game. We'll take that in what could turn into an ugly game of football.

That offensive production — nearly a touchdown more per game — is a significant difference between these teams, and it's something New York will need to overcome if it wants to win at home after falling to the lowly Miami Dolphins.

The biggest question is whether the Jets' defense can do enough in the trenches to force Kirk Cousins into making off-platform throws. If not, Vegas should continue to roll.

I'd play this to 50%.

Early Raiders vs Jets total pick: Under 45.5

One of the first stats I look at when evaluating an Under is red-zone touchdown conversion rate, and this matchup features two of the NFL's least efficient offenses inside the 20-yard line.

The Jets come into this one with a paltry 45% red-zone touchdown rate, with the Raiders not too far behind, converting at just 46%. No matter which way you attack this game, it's difficult to see a ton of points being scored.

While the Raiders leave plenty to be desired defensively, the Jets' offense, with just four rushing touchdowns this season behind their 16th-ranked offensive line, won't do enough with the ball to get over the line in this one.

Playable to 55%.
