Who's playing in the Hall of Fame Game?

Trading on the Hall of Fame Game and other NFL preseason games often means paying attention to who will actually play in the game and for how long. Star players, top rookies, and veteran starters rarely play in these early preseason contests, which means a majority of the snaps will be taken by second, third, and even fourth-stringers. That means looking down the depth charts and seeing which squad could have an edge.

In this game, the Cardinals announced rookie quarterback Carson Beck as the starter, but expect Kedon Slovis to get a bigger chunk of time under center, especially in the second half. Meanwhile, Carolina will start with QB2 Kenny Pickett and eventually hand the keys over to rookie Haynes King.

Expect most starting skill position players to be unavailable, and anyone who does suit up will play no more than an offensive series or two before getting replaced by backups.
