Against the spread (ATS) pick

These teams tangled three weeks ago, with the Giants eking out a 20-19 win at home. Although Washington arguably outplayed the Giants in that game - losing due to a 43-yard fumble return score by New York with three minutes left in the contest - the truth is that New York has been playing close games for the last month.

In addition to that narrow win against Washington, New York has three losses over their last four games, but those defeats came by a total of six points, including a two-point loss against the Bucs last Monday night.

Washington is coming off a beatdown victory over Dallas but is just 1-5 ATS in its last six games as a favorite and 1-6 ATS in its last 7 games following a bye week.

The Giants are 4-0 ATS in their previous four contests as an underdog and 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games on the road. With both teams struggling on offense but having defenses capable of keeping them competitive, take the points with the dog.

PREDICTION: New York +3.5 (-110)

Over/Under pick

Not only did these teams combine for just 39 points when they met up in Week 6 (with seven of those points coming from New York's defense), but they totaled just 577 yards of offense. Neither team can move the ball consistently, with Washington seemingly committed to Kyle Allen at quarterback while the Giants continue to roll with an ineffective Daniel Jones.

That said, New York has been solid on defense, holding foes to 354.8 yards per game, the 13th-best number in the league.

Washington is even better on that side of the ball, with rookie Chase Young spearheading a unit that is second in the NFL in sack percentage and fourth in defensive DVOA according to Football Outsiders.

With the Under 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these NFC East foes, back it again on Sunday.

PREDICTION: Under 42.5 (-110)

Player Prop

One of Washington's only bright spots on offense has been the play of wide receiver Terry McLaurin. McLaurin had 919 receiving yards as a rookie last year and has logged at least 74 receiving yards in five of his last six games.

McLaurin should be in for a big day against a New York secondary that surrenders 252.8 yards per game through the air.

When he played against the Giants three weeks ago, McLaurin was targeted 12 times by Allen. Expect Allen to be looking McLaurin's way often on Sunday and take the Over on his receiving yards.

PREDICTION: Terry McLaurin receiving yards Over 72.5 (-110)
