Find out why Ryan Gilbert is backing Jauan Jennings to break the plane on MNF.

It’s a battle between two teams heading in opposite directions on Monday Night Football.

The San Francisco 49ers have ramped things up over the last month with a four-game winning streak, while the Indianapolis Colts have lost four straight and have turned to Philip Rivers under center.

San Francisco should find the end zone a few times, but it might be tougher for the Indianapolis offense.

Here are my best free 49ers vs. Colts anytime touchdown picks for Monday, December 22.

49ers anytime touchdown pick

Jauan Jennings (+130 at bet365)

Christian McCaffrey leads the 49ers with 14 touchdowns this season, but he's -225 to score this week. Instead, I'm looking at wide receiver Jauan Jennings, who has become a key target for the 49ers in recent weeks.

Jennings is second on the 49ers with seven touchdowns, and he comes into this Monday Night Football on a three-game scoring streak, including two last week against Tennessee.

The wideout was targeted four times in the red zone last week, bringing him up to 16 on the season. That’s second on the 49ers behind only McCaffrey.

If the Colts are determined to stack the box and stop McCaffrey in the red zone, that only helps our Jennings bet.

Colts anytime touchdown pick

Tyler Warren (+260 at bet365)

The Colts are another team led by their running back in Jonathan Taylor, but I’m targeting Tyler Warren on Monday night. He had a stretch of a touchdown in four straight games earlier this season, and found the end zone again three weeks ago against the Texans.

Warren leads all Colts pass-catchers with 22 red-zone targets, and the 49ers have had some struggles against tight ends this season. They've allowed a tight end to score in two straight games and five of their last six.

The tight end was targeted six times last week by Rivers. He should be a good safety valve for the elder quarterback against the 49ers.
