49ers vs Rams combo
As Joe Osborne mentions in his 49ers vs. Rams predictions, he's high on the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne.
"San Francisco has repeatedly kept this matchup close and enters with a significant acclimation advantage after spending nearly a full week in Melbourne. The hook could be crucial in another tight divisional battle.
Brock Purdy averaged 16.3 rushing yards across nine appearances last season, and topped 20 in four of his final five games, including the playoffs. The Los Angeles Rams’ ferocious pass rush should create scrambling opportunities and force him out of the pocket.
Christian McCaffrey produced 82 and 66 receiving yards in last season’s meetings, and has cleared 40 in four of his last five against the Rams.
Los Angeles struggled to defend running backs in the passing game last season, creating a favorable matchup for McCaffrey."
49ers vs Rams touchdown combo
CMC appears to be ready to go in Week 1, and his workload will be steep. Rookie Kaelon Black is positioned as the San Francisco 49ers' RB2, and I don't see them giving him much run — especially in the red zone.
McCaffrey led all RBs last year in RZ rush attempts, scoring 10 times. He also had the fourth-most targets through the air with 25, and he hauled 20 of them in — seven being in the end zone.
Puka Nacua's offseason drama has obscured how good he was in 2025, when he led the league in receptions on the best offense in the NFL.
He now faces a 49ers defense that coughed up the 11th-most TDs through the air, and half of Nacua's scores last season came outside the red zone.
Davante Adams was targeted 31 times inside the 20 last season (third most) and hauled in 13 catches. What's even crazier, 12 of those were for a tuddy.
Adams is the definition of a safety blanket, and oftentimes McVay opted to go to him rather than run in the rock.
49ers vs Rams milestone combo
Christian McCaffrey 40+ receiving yards
Brock Purdy 15+ rushing yards.
Mike Evans 50+ receiving yards.
To help build this combo on Kalshi, I'm turning to our NFL prop projections page to find the best value.
I'm kicking it off with Christian McCaffrey 40+ receiving yards. He's always a great checkdown option for Brock Purdy, and our projections call for him to eclipse 41 rec yards.
Myles Garrett will be hunting down Purdy all night long, and he'll have to put his legs to use. Our projections call for 21.53 rushing yards from the Niners' QB.
We wrap this up with veteran WR Mike Evans to reach 50 yards through the air. Our numbers call for about 54 rec yards.
