UCLA heads to Eugene unbeaten, but Oregon is laying double digits at Autzen. Geoff Clark's early lean favors the road side and a total that could buck both teams’ Over trends.

UCLA brings a 4-0 record to Autzen Stadium on Saturday, where 3-1 Oregon is an 11.5-point favorite with a 58.5 total. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, and my UCLA vs. Oregon predictions lean toward a live underdog and a lower-scoring game.

It's all part of our college football picks for Week 6.

Early UCLA vs Oregon spread pick: UCLA +11.5

Kalshi probability: 54%

I agree with the market backing the UCLA Bruins at +11.5, and I'd trade UCLA down to +10.5 against the Oregon Ducks. The Bruins have posted a higher net yards per play, standard-down success rate differential, and they're winning the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, according to CollegeFootballData.com.

Oregon might start backup QB Dylan Raiola after Dante Moore suffered a concussion against USC. Regardless, if you remove their game against Portland State, an FCS school, the Ducks have posted fewer first downs than their opponents.

UCLA enjoyed a bye last week, and first-year head coach Bob Chesney coached James Madison the last two seasons, which lost 51-34 but covered as +20.5 'dogs versus Oregon in the College Football Playoff last year. So, Chesney gets an extra week to prepare for a team he covered against last season.

Early UCLA vs Oregon total pick: Under 58.5

Kalshi probability: 54%

It's Under 58.5 (down to 57.5) or pass for me, because this correlates with my UCLA against-the-spread pick, and the Bruins rank 110th in seconds per play offensively. UCLA leads the nation in yards per rush (7.0) and should lean on its ground game to keep Oregon's offense off the field.

Both defenses are elite on third down and rank in the 93rd percentile for explosive play rate allowed, according to GameOnPaper.com. Hence, I expect short drives and few quick strikes. The Ducks are 4-0 to the Over this season and the Bruins are 3-1. I prefer fading those trends, especially ahead of a conference game.

My prediction: Oregon 31, UCLA 24.
