The Texas A&M Aggies are just one of four remaining undefeated teams in college football and debuted at No. 3 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings.

But this is the SEC, and things won’t get any easier for the Aggies from here on out. This week, they hit the road to take on the Missouri Tigers. And while this looks like a matchup of two great defenses, my Texas A&M vs. Missouri predictions are betting on the scoreboard lighting up in Columbia.

Check out my college football picks for this pivotal SEC matchup on Saturday, November 8.

Texas A&M vs Missouri prediction

Texas A&M vs Missouri best bet: Over 47.5 (-110)

Everyone knew the Texas A&M Aggies had a talented roster, but I’m not sure many expected them to be one of the few remaining undefeated teams at this point in the season.

Marcel Reed has developed into a really good dual-threat QB. He's thrown for 1,972 yards with 17 touchdowns and six interceptions while adding another 349 yards and six scores on the ground. He leads an explosive Aggies offense that ranks 7th in EPA per play and 19th in offensive success rate.

On paper, the Missouri Tigers are a tough matchup. They are 6-2 with the two losses coming to two ranked opponents by a combined 10 points. They are at home and have a very strong defense.

But this is not the first strong defense that the Aggies have come across this season. Texas A&M has put up 49 points on LSU, 34 points on Florida, and 41 points on Notre Dame.

Meanwhile, it may feel like Mizzou is in trouble from an offensive standpoint with QB Beau Pribula's injury to his ankle in the team’s loss to Vanderbilt. But head coach Eli Drinkwitz has had an extra week of practice with backup Matt Zollers.

Zollers has been lauded for having a talented arm and looked impressive in relief of Pribula against Vandy, completing 14-for-23 passing attempts for 138 yards and a touchdown. He also has the benefit of playing behind a strong offensive line that can run the ball well with star back Ahmad Hardy.

And it's not like the Aggies haven't given up points this season. They've given up 40-burgers to Notre Dame and Arkansas, and even an offensively challenged LSU put up 25 points in their last game.

This total feels like it is overcompensating for the loss of Pribula. Texas A&M will continue to roll, and Zollers will be better than expected. Give me the Over.

Texas A&M vs Missouri same-game parlay

If we’re going Over in this SEC clash, we’re going to need some touchdowns. Not many in this matchup have done it better than the Aggies' KC Concepcion and the Tigers’ Ahmad Hardy.

Concepcion is having an outstanding season for Texas A&M. The Aggies' wideout has 36 catches for 545 yards and seven touchdowns. He's found the end zone at least once in five games this season and in three of the last four overall.

Meanwhile, a young quarterback will be happy to have a guy like Hardy to lean on in a matchup like this. Hardy has rumbled for 937 yards with 11 touchdowns this season and has scored in all but two games this season.

Another thing a young QB needs is a security blanket in a tight end like Brent Norfleet.

He's a big threat in the red zone and has five touchdowns this season.
