Prop pick #1: DJ Vonnahme Over 39.5 Receiving Yards

ProphetX probability: 57%

Tight End U's latest standout: DJ Vonnahme.

Despite battling injuries for much of the season, Vonnahme has averaged an impressive 2.31 yards per route run, per PFF. That's an excellent mark for any pass-catcher, let alone a tight end navigating multiple quarterback changes and a return from injury.

Iowa's star running back Kamari Moulton is out for the season, leaving his team-high 572 scrimmage yards to be replaced elsewhere. Why not funnel some of that usage toward one of the nation's most efficient receiving options?

  • Matchup: Wisconsin vs. Iowa
  • Date/Time: Saturday, Oct. 31 at noon ET
  • Location: Kinnick Stadium, Iowa City, IA
  • TV: Fox

Prop pick #2: Braden Pegan Over 58.5 Receiving Yards

ProphetX probability: 51%

Cincinnati is a dream matchup for wide receivers. The Bearcats are giving up 284.4 passing yards per game, fourth-most nationally, while ranking 108th in passing success rate allowed.

It's difficult to stay with your man when the pass rush provides little support. Cincinnati ranks 132nd in PFF's pass-rush grade, giving opposing quarterbacks plenty of time to find open receivers.

Devon Dampier should have room to operate, benefiting No. 1 receiver Braden Pegan, who leads Utah with 34 receptions for 459 yards and six touchdowns.

  • Location: Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
  • TV: ESPN

Prop pick #3: Isaiah Sategna III Over 79.5 Receiving Yards

ProphetX probability: 52%

You can criticize Oklahoma's offense all you want, but it's hard to criticize Isaiah Sategna III. The Sooners' go-to target has topped 79.5 receiving yards in four of his last five games and stands a good chance of doing so again in a favorable matchup.

South Carolina ranks 104th in PFF's coverage grade and 121st in EPA per pass allowed. That's welcome news for Sategna, whom Oklahoma relies on heavily to generate offense.

  • Matchup: South Carolina vs. Oklahoma
  • Date/Time: Saturday, Oct. 31 at 4:15 p.m. ET
  • Location: Memorial Stadium, Norman, OK
  • TV: SEC Network

Prop pick #4: Aiden Flora Over 81.5 Rushing Yards

ProphetX probability: 55%

Iowa State offensive coordinator Tyler Roehl spent a year with the Detroit Lions, where he observed how Jahmyr Gibbs was used, and has sought to bring a similar approach to Ames.

The primary beneficiary is running back Aiden Flora, who has powered the offense with both efficiency (4.92 yards after contact per attempt) and dependable volume (at least 15 touches in four consecutive games).

Add in a favorable matchup against Oklahoma State's vulnerable defense (88th in EPA per rush and 122nd in rushing success rate allowed), and Flora has an appealing matchup in Week 9.

  • Matchup: Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State
  • Date/Time: Saturday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. ET
  • Location: Jack Trice Stadium, Ames, IA
  • TV: Fox

Prop pick #5: Tanook Hines Over 38.5 Receiving Yards

ProphetX probability: 55%

This play is less about the matchup and more about the role. Expected to be the No. 1 receiver entering the season, Tanook Hines needed time to return to full health, but he's now playing a full-time role and has recorded more than 40 receiving yards in three straight games.

USC will need to pull out all the stops against a stingy Ohio State defense. With less experience elsewhere in the receiving corps, Hines is a proven option in a passing attack that ranks fourth nationally in passing success rate.

The number makes sense based on the matchup alone. But Hines is a key part of one of the nation's best passing attacks, making a line below 40 yards too low for my liking.

  • Matchup: Ohio State vs. USC
  • Date/Time: Saturday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Location: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
  • TV: NBC
