Indiana's pressure is the clearest path to a comfortable home win. Tobi Osunsanmi has nine sacks, and the Hoosiers piled up 11 tackles for loss against Michigan. Minnesota must handle that disruption without starting center Ashton Beers, who is out, making protection and communication especially important for Drake Lindsey. The Gophers have averaged just 17.2 points in five games against Power Four opponents, a concern Rob Paul highlights in his Minnesota vs. Indiana prediction. If Indiana wins early downs and forces Lindsey into obvious passing situations, its defense can give the offense favorable field position. Our 21-point margin supports Indiana -20.5, although it leaves only a half-point of room against the spread.

Minnesota's defense gives the Under a chance even if the Gophers struggle to score. Curt Cignetti praised its ability to mix man and zone coverage with five- and six-man pressures, a difficult combination for an Indiana passing game trying to regain its rhythm. Josh Hoover is listed as probable after playing through an injury at Michigan, and Cignetti expects him to be healthier. Still, none of Indiana's last three games has exceeded 37 combined points. Our 41-point projection leans Under 41.5, with little margin for error. The biggest threat is a short-field touchdown or defensive score that lets either team put up points without sustaining a drive.

How our college football AI predictions work

Our college football score predictions use a custom Bayesian model built from past game results, separate offensive and defensive team ratings, home-field effects, and college football scoring patterns.

We compare each score forecast with the selected full-game spread and total to produce our ATS and Over/Under picks. Kalshi percentages reflect market purchase quotes before fees, separate from the score forecasts. Quotes for opposing outcomes can add up to more than 100%.

We publicly track every published score prediction, ATS pick, and Over/Under selection against its original line throughout the season. Later market changes do not alter those tracked selections.

Odds and market lines are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change.
