Best Minnesota vs Indiana props
Prop pick #1: Turbo Richard Over 89.5 rushing yards
Turbo Richard. Is this not the greatest name for a running back in sports history? That's like a pitcher being named Janson Junk. Oh, wait.
The Indiana junior has led the way on the ground for the Hoosiers all season. He's been battle-tested over the last few weeks, though, being held in check by Ohio State and Michigan, two defenses ranked inside the top 12 in rushing yards allowed this season.
Now, he faces a defense ranked 37 spots below those two. Minnesota has allowed more than 135 rushing yards per game this season.
Richards hasn't gone Over this number since rushing for 203 yards against Northwestern on Sept. 25. However, considering the defenses he's faced over the last few weeks, this sets up as a great opportunity for him and the Hoosiers' offense to get rolling.
Play this up to 95.5 yards.
Prop pick #2: Darius Taylor Under 31.5 rushing yards
Senior running back Darius Taylor is in for a rough afternoon against an Indiana defense allowing just 2.3 yards per carry, the second-best mark nationally, and 81 rushing yards per game.
The Minnesota running back leads the team in carries, averaging around 12 per game, but he also shares the workload with TJ Thomas and Xavier Ford. Taylor likely won't get enough opportunities to clear this number, especially considering he's averaging just 2.3 yards per carry, the exact same mark Indiana is allowing opposing backs.
Playable down to 30 yards.
Prop pick #3: Lee Beebe Jr. anytime touchdown
With Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover listed as probable after suffering an injury against Ohio State two weeks ago, there's a chance head coach Curt Cignetti leans more heavily on the ground game if Hoover isn't at 100%.
With Turbo Richards priced above 60%, why not back the guy he splits carries with? Lee Beebe Jr. is tied for the third-most touchdowns on the team, trailing Richards and two receivers.
For the price and situation, I love the look.
Playable up to 56%.
