Brad Powers’ expert pick: Florida +11.5

A potential coaching edge isn't being properly priced in here. I'd play Florida down to +10.5 as a result.

Florida has a new offensive coordinator in Buster Faulkner, who knows Georgia well. He was on the Bulldogs' staff from 2020-2022 and won a pair of national titles there.

Faulkner then served as Georgia Tech's offensive coordinator from 2023-2025 and faced the Bulldogs three times. Georgia Tech covered all three games, beating the spread by an average of 13.3 points. In the 2024 game, Faulkner's offense put up 563 yards, the most Georgia's defense had allowed in six years.

Faulkner might be one of the few coaches who've figured out how to attack a Kirby Smart defense.

Rob Paul’s expert pick: Over 55.5

Although Kirby Smart is known for his defense, the Over has hit in four of the last six World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Parties, and the Bulldogs are 6-1 to the Over this season. At 55.5 or better, I like the Over to hit in Atlanta's first-ever Cocktail Party.

Florida has been a wild ride this season. Buster Faulkner's offense is scoring 31.8 points per game in SEC play, but the Gators are allowing 34.2 points per game in those contests. With Faulkner's familiarity with Smart (having worked under him for three years and coached against him at Georgia Tech for another three), and both Gators QBs expected to be available, Florida should do enough to help push this game Over the total.

However, I'm expecting Georgia to do most of the damage, with Florida's defense ranking 125th nationally in success rate allowed (49.5%) and 135th in third- and fourth-down success rate allowed (56.5%).

Georgia's offense is the best the Gators have faced yet, leading the country in points per opportunity (5.21) and ranking second in success rate (51.9%).

Colby Marchio’s expert pick: Georgia -11.5

There's a lot to love about the Bulldogs beyond the obvious bounce-back spot following their Week 7 loss to Auburn.

For starters, Florida quarterback Aaron Philo is set to make his first appearance since Oct. 10 against South Carolina. This will easily be the toughest defense he's faced all season, and it's not even close.

Whoever lines up at quarterback for the Gators on Saturday, Georgia's defense is going to make their life a living hell.

Florida has leaned heavily on its ground game all season, but that unit will face a defense allowing just 3.3 yards per carry and 105 rushing yards per game.

If the Gators can't run the ball, I don't see them keeping this one close.

Fun nugget: Kirby Smart is 11-6 ATS following a loss during his tenure at Georgia.

Chris Vasile’s expert pick: Georgia -11.5

Georgia should be motivated after its stunning loss to Auburn, and Florida's defense presents a favorable bounce-back opportunity.

The Gators rank 113th nationally in EPA per dropback and have allowed 34.2 points per game against SEC opponents.

With Gunner Stockton facing a vulnerable secondary, I'll back the Bulldogs to pull away.
