College football is officially back with eight FBS games on the Week 0 slate, giving us our first chance to put our college football AI predictions to the test.
Starting this week, I'll be predicting every major game of the college football season using a forecasting model I built with GPT-5.6 Sol, the latest advanced reasoning model from OpenAI — projecting the final score for every matchup based on historical team performance and the latest information surrounding quarterbacks, transfers, coaching changes, roster composition, injuries, and other relevant factors.
Those score projections are generated independently before being compared with the latest betting markets to make an ATS and Over/Under pick for every game. We'll be running these projections throughout the 2026 college football season and improving our process along the way as we learn new information about all 138 FBS teams.

North Carolina vs. TCU AI prediction
Both teams are breaking in major pieces on offense, with Wisconsin transfer Billy Edwards Jr. taking over at North Carolina under new coordinator Bobby Petrino and Harvard transfer Jaden Craig leading TCU in Gordon Sammis' new system. TCU owns the stronger overall roster, but the offensive turnover on both sides should help UNC keep this close in Dublin.

Our college football AI predictions use a custom forecasting process built with GPT-5.6 Sol to project a final score for each matchup before considering the betting market.
The process combines historical team performance with current information such as quarterbacks, transfers, roster turnover, coaching changes, and injuries. Those projected scores are then compared with the latest odds to produce our ATS and Over/Under picks.
We'll update the process as the season progresses and publicly track every published score prediction, ATS pick, and Over/Under selection.
