The Alabama Crimson Tide host the surging Texas A&M Aggies in SEC basketball action tonight.

The Tide recently added former center Charles Bediako after he sued the NCAA to regain college eligibility. My Texas A&M vs. Alabama predictions are based on taking advantage of Bediako before a long-term ruling is made later this week.

Here are my best free college basketball picks for this clash between two of the best unranked teams in the country on February 4.

Texas A&M vs Alabama prediction

Texas A&M vs Alabama best bet: Charles Bediako Over 9.5 points (+100)

Two weeks ago, Charles Bediako controversially returned to the Alabama Crimson Tide after three years in the G League. He scored 13 and 14 points in his first two games with Bama before being held to six by a dominant Florida frontcourt last weekend.

The 7-foot center struggled against the Gators but will find it much easier to score inside against an undersized Texas A&M Aggies squad.

The Aggies' biggest starter is 6-foot-7 forward Rashaun Agee, with mediocre 6-foot-11 backup Zach Clemence their only other rotation player taller than 6-foot-5.

Texas A&M vs Alabama same-game parlay

The Aggies are 10-1 straight up and 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 games, with the only loss coming in OT on the road against No. 25 Tennessee.

Meanwhile, the Tide are fresh off a blowout loss to Florida and are 3-4 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last seven.

The Aggies' depth, balance, and ability to play at a fast tempo will help them go shot-for-shot with a Bama squad that allows 82.3 ppg — the worst number among high-major schools

The Tide sit outside the Top 350 in opponent turnover rate, and that lack of ball pressure will help Jacari Lane. The Texas A&M point guard has dropped four or more dimes in 10 of his last 16 games, while averaging 4.4 apg over that span.

Texas A&M vs Alabama SGP

  • Charles Bediako Over 9.5 points
  • Texas A&M +8
  • Jacari Lane Over 3.5 assists

Our beyond the arc SGP: Underrated Aggies

The Tide are 362nd in rebounds allowed per game (41.5), and their tendency to shoot threes leads to more long rebounds. Those will be gobbled up by 6-foot-6 wing Ruben Dominguez, who has grabbed at least three boards in three of his last four contests

Texas A&M vs Alabama SGP

  • Texas A&M +8
  • Jacari Lane Over 3.5 assists
  • Ruben Dominguez Over 2.5 rebounds
  • Charles Bediako Over 9.5 points

Texas A&M vs Alabama odds

  • Spread: Texas A&M +8 | Alabama -8
  • Moneyline: Texas A&M +325 | Alabama -425
