Notre Dame vs Louisville best bet: Mikel Brown Over 4.5 assists (-140)
Louisville’s offense is built around what Mikel Brown already does well: getting downhill, forcing help, and making the easy read.
After some time off, it looks like he’s got his legs back under him. The second half against SMU was the best version of Brown, the dynamic playmaker who has him placed so high on mock draft boards. I’m betting that carries over here.
Louisville’s success is so predicated on Brown grabbing paint, and you’d expect him to be able to do a ton of that tonight. When that happens, Louisville’s multiple shooters space the floor, and its 98th percentile ranking on attack-and-kick plays really shows up.
Even if Notre Dame stays attached to shooters, Louisville still creates offense through second actions, which is particularly concerning for the Irish.
Notre Dame is just bad at the rim overall, and it's also vulnerable defensively on cutting actions, so the Pat Kelsey staples should show up.
Quick dump-offs and alley lobs should be there all night, and they’re the kind of looks Sananda Fru and recently healthy Khani Rooths can finish with ease.

One of the core tenets of my best bet was Louisville's success at the rim, and Sananda Fru should be able to exploit it the most.
His success has largely been tied to his point guard's success, and this was on display again when Brown dished at least five assists against Virginia Tech. Fru scored 13 points.
I paired that with J’Vonne Hadley to make at least one three. His shooting has gone more under the radar because he’s not quite an elite shooter like Ryan Conwell or Isaac McKneely.
However, he’s had great success against opponents who struggle to defend against attacks and kicks like ND.
