The Louisville Cardinals and Miami Hurricanes meet in an ACC Tournament quarterfinal rematch from Saturday's regular-season finale, where Louisville won 92-89.

Louisville is still without Mikel Brown Jr., but has thrived with Adrian Wooley as a primary facilitator. Miami offers up the perfect chance for that to continue.

My Louisville vs. Miami predictions and college basketball picks break down why the Cardinals guard will cash in this afternoon.

Louisville vs Miami best bet

Louisville vs Miami best bet: Adrian Wooley Over 2.5 assists (-120)

Mikel Brown’s extended absence has forced the Louisville Cardinals to get more creative, which has ultimately led Isaac McKneely and Adrian Wooley to facilitate the offense more.

Wooley dropped six dimes in the previous matchup and will be the primary driver on attack-and-kick actions, which is big for multiple reasons.

The first is that the Miami Hurricanes are in the Bottom 20% nationally in defending against such actions. The second? Louisville is due for instant regression after a poor shooting performance yesterday. That action alone is enough for Wooley to exceed such a small number.

Louisville vs Miami same-game parlay

Plainly, I think Louisville is a better basketball team, but more than that, I think the Cardinals have more advantages to attack.

In some ways, this matchup is worse for Miami with Mikel Brown because you have so much active movement around the perimeter in an area the Canes struggle to defend.

I doubt we’ll see a defensive performance like the one we had against Louisville yesterday, but I expect them to (again) run up a big number on the other side.

Our beyond the arc SGP: Cardinals fly high

I’ll back Isaac McKneely to have a good performance. The shots didn’t fall yesterday, which is, for me, all the reason to expect them to drop today. He’s the primary beneficiary of the attack-and-kick drives, so he leads off my longshot.

I paired that with Malik Reneau. Louisville drew two fouls on him early in the first matchup, and he still finished with 18 points, partly due to a parade to the free-throw line. Imagine if he doesn’t pick up two quick fouls today?
