Stephen Curry has started to find his stride, powering a Warriors team that has won five of their last seven games heading into Sunday's matchup with Toronto.

With COVID-19 once again rearing its ugly head, NBA betting has another of layer of mystery to wade through with teams missing star players for multiple games due to health and safety protocols.

So what are we doing as break down the NBA odds with our daily NBA picks and predictions for Sunday? Well, we're simply going to focus on the games where we know franchise players will take to the court. So let's thank Nikola Jokic, a recently healthy Karl-Anthony Towns, and Stephen Curry as we wager on some Sunday basketball action for January 10.

NBA Picks for Today

Denver Nuggets vs New York Knicks

The Nuggets have had an up-and-down season so far but All-NBA center Nikola Jokic continues to be ridiculously dominant.

The Joker is averaging 24.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 11 assists per game. He's also been extremely consistent with six triple-doubles in nine games this season. And the three contests where he didn't get a triple-double he was off by just a single assist

There's no way Jokic can keep up this pace but for now, we're liking the +225 payout for him adding another triple dub after falling one assist shy in just 29 minutes of game time last night.

PREDICTION: Nikola Jokic - Triple Double (+225)

San Antonio Spurs vs Minnesota Timberwolves

The Spurs and Timberwolves faced off last night with San Antonio winning 125-122 in overtime. That was the seventh time in the last eight meetings between these teams that they went Over the total.

That said, we're not convinced that they'll hit the Over again today. After all, the total for today has been set at a very high 233 – a number they have gone below in eight of their last 10 meetings – and they combined for a more reasonable 226 points in regulation.

They could also have some tired legs playing for their second night in a row. Keep in mind that the Spurs scored just 95 points against the Pelicans in their lone game this season on zero days of rest.

The T-wolves scored just 91 points in their only game this season on the tail-end of a back-to-back and are now 5-2 to the Under in their previous seven games with no rest.

PREDICTION: Under 233 (-110)

Toronto Raptors vs Golden State Warriors

A lot can change in 19 months and this matchup is the perfect example of that, with both of these teams looking far different than the squads that faced off in the NBA finals in 2019. Toronto has looked downright ugly at times this season, going 2-6 SU and ATS, but is coming off a 144-123 win against the Kings.

The Warriors also opened their season playing some ugly basketball as they adjusted to a new-look lineup that continues to miss Klay Thompson, but they have now won five of their last seven games and are fresh off a 10-point victory over the Clippers.

The Raptors have played better on the offensive end of the floor lately, but that's been offset by a defense that has surrendered at least 120 points in four straight games.

Now they take on a Golden State team that has played stingier defense with Draymond Green back on the court, while Stephen Curry looks to be finding his stride as the focal point of the offense. With the Warriors recent form and home court advantage, I'm taking them with the points.

PREDICTION: Golden State +3 (-110)
