The Indiana Pacers will look to pick up their first win of the season when they tip off against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Pascal Siakam was all over the box score in his season opener, and I’m expecting another big night for Spicy P in my Pacers vs. Grizzlies predictions and NBA picks for tonight's game.

Pacers vs Grizzlies prediction

Pacers vs Grizzlies best bet: Pascal Siakam Over 22.5 points (-115)

The Indiana Pacers opened the season against the Thunder on Thursday in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, coming up short 141-135 in double overtime.

Bennedict Mathurin came out hot with a team-high 36 points while Pascal Siakam dropped 32 points of his own (28 in regulation time) and added 15 boards.

Siakam went 12-for-25 from the field, with his 12 makes and 25 attempts leading the Pacers and trailing only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (15-for-31) for tops among all players in the game.

I’m expecting Spicy P to take control of the game again tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies, who haven’t looked too interested in playing defense.

Memphis is allowing 134 points per game through its first two contests of 2025-26 and finished tied for sixth-last in the NBA in opponent points allowed last season (116.9).

Pacers vs Grizzlies same-game parlay

Siakam was a beast all over the court in Indiana’s season opener and could crush these lines against a lackadaisical Grizzlies defense.

Memphis has allowed 52 opponent rebounds per game in this early season – the third-worst mark in the NBA.

If Siakam and Mathurin both show out again, I like the underdog Pacers to overpower Ja Morant’s Grizzlies.

Our "from downtown" SGP: Pacers pack a punch

Siakam had a double-double against the Thunder, and tonight’s matchup against the Grizzlies should be an easier assignment. Spicy P recorded 13 double-doubles last season.

Mathurin went 3-for-8 from three-point range on Thursday and should comfortably drop at least a couple of treys against a Grizzlies team that’s allowing opponents to make 43.3% of their threes.
