Both teams are 2-1 and are coming off defeats on Sunday. The Milwaukee Bucks lost 118-113 in Cleveland, while the New York Knicks fell 115-107 at Miami.
Giannis Antetokounmpo remains one of the best players in the world. That said, the supporting cast leaves a lot to be desired in Milwaukee, especially in the backcourt, where the Bucks lack efficient shot-makers and capable defenders.
That depth could really be tested tonight with point guard Kevin Porter Jr. sidelined and backup PG Cole Anthony less than 100% due to an illness.
Top to bottom, the Knicks have the better starting lineup. Point guard Jalen Brunson is coming off his second-straight All-NBA season, with Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart able to score and defend at a high level on the wing.
I was a bit concerned about the status of All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns, who has been dealing with a quad injury, but he's been upgraded to probable.
The Knicks have gone 5-0 straight up and against the spread in their last five meetings against the Bucks, which includes a pair of comfortable wins in Milwaukee. Back them to win and cover again.

Giannis racked up 40 points with 14 rebounds and nine assists in a losing cause on Sunday. The Bucks tried to team him up with a superstar last year, but the Damian Lillard experiment failed, and now Myles Turner is the second-best player on the roster.
