Against the Spread (ATS) Pick
Being that this is the second of back-to-back games for the Clippers, there’s always a chance that Kawhi Leonard will sit out, but the Warriors are a pretty good play no matter what right now. Sure, Golden State looked awful to start the season, but the team has been excellent since Green returned to the lineup.
In blowout victories over the Blazers and Kings, Golden State’s defense looked competent. And while Curry scoring 92 points over the last two games helps, it’s Green’s ability to hold teammates accountable and encourage ball movement that has turned things around for the Warriors. Yeah, this might not be the Golden State team that was in title contention every year, but these Warriors certainly look like a group that is capable of making the play-in tournament for the Western Conference Playoffs. And they are going to give teams their best shot when they’re playing at the Chase Center.
It’s also worth noting that the Warriors are 34-15 ATS when coming off back-to-back home wins of at least 10 points under head coach Steve Kerr.
PREDICTION: Warriors +5.0 (-110)
Over/Under Pick
The Clippers have been a high-scoring team this season, so this meeting with the red-hot Warriors could end up turning into a track meet. It really just comes down to whether or not Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. are hitting their shots. The two combined to go 6 for 10 from three against the Kings last game, so perhaps they are finally getting comfortable playing with one another.
As for Los Angeles, Paul George should be able to have his way with the Warriors, as Wiggins and Oubre really aren’t good defensively. George has been as hot as can be to start the year, so his eyes should light up at this matchup.
PREDICTION: Over 234 (-110)

When Curry is this hot, it’s best to just roll with it and enjoy watching him. The first unanimous MVP in league history has scored 92 points over the last two games, and he has the ultimate green light on a normal day. But given how well he’s shooting the ball — and how badly his team needs a good performance from him against the Clippers — 27.5 shouldn’t be a high enough number to scare anybody off.
