Expert NBA ATS picks: Oct. 26

Wizards vs Hornets: Wizards +1.5

I like how the Washington Wizards are playing. Trae Young and Anthony Davis have both been impressive, and the Charlotte Hornets are still missing a few key players. I'll take the Wizards with the points. They will overwhelm Charlotte inside.

Timberwolves vs Cavaliers: Timberwolves  +3.5

The Minnesota Timberwolves are a perfect 3-0, and Anthony Edwards is averaging 28.7 points per game. They've looked like a complete team on both ends of the floor, and have blown out every opponent. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 1-1 and could barely beat the Nets. Minny is a great ATS pick here.

Bulls vs Celtics: Bulls +14.5

The Boston Celtics should have no issues beating a Chicago Bulls team that allows nearly 130 points per night, but the spread is too large for me. The C's are only 1-1, and they've averaged just 110 ppg so far. The Bulls can keep it within 15 points.

Mavericks vs Heat: Heat -8.5

Yes, the Miami Heat are 0-3, but I see this as a bounce-back spot for Giannis Antetokounmpo & Co.

The Dallas Mavericks could be without Cooper Flagg again tonight, leaving their frontcourt depleted, with several others also out. Bam Adebayo and Antetokounmpo's interior presence can take advantage if he's out. If Flagg plays, resort to the Heat moneyline.

Pacers vs Bucks: Pacers -4.5

The Milwaukee Bucks have been a defensive nightmare and remain winless, while the Indiana Pacers shot nearly 50% from deep in their last game to beat the Nets by 27. Indy will add to Milwaukee's misery.

Suns vs Thunder: Thunder -9.5

Jalen Williams just suffered a gruesome injury on Sunday, while Cason Wallace and Jaylin Williams left early with injuries. Nevertheless, the Oklahoma City Thunder have enough firepower to cover here.

They've been fantastic defensively, and the Phoenix Suns are without Mark Williams, leaving them depleted inside. Phoenix has also struggled to defend while getting dominated on the offensive boards.

Hawks vs Rockets: Hawks +5.5

The Houston Rockets beat the Atlanta Hawks by seven points on Saturday, but the Hawks shot terribly. A small improvement in their 3-point efficiency could make this much closer, as Atlanta has shot well overall amid its 2-1 start.

Grizzlies vs Jazz: Grizzlies +1.5

The Memphis Grizzlies are off to a perfect 3-0 start and already dismantled the Utah Jazz 123-103 last week, with Ty Jerome exploding for 45 points. Utah has allowed 124.7 ppg, and I expect Memphis to exploit those defensive struggles again.

Warriors vs Nuggets: Nuggets -7.5

The Golden State Warriors have lost three straight to begin the season, allowing 123 ppg during that stretch.

The Denver Nuggets are coming off a 141-point explosion against New Orleans, with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combining for 77 points, and I expect that duo to give Golden State plenty of problems at home.
