NASCAR Cup Series odds are on the board for the one of the "crown jewels" of the sport — the Brickyard 400.
Bubba Wallace upset the field at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last season, and I'm hoping for a similarly-priced upset winner this Sunday in my Brickyard 400 long-shot predictions and sleeper picks.
See why my free picks are targeting Austin Cindric on July 26.
NASCAR Brickyard 400 sleeper picks
- Chase Briscoe (+1567)
- Carson Hocevar (+2400)
- Austin Cindric (+4900)

NASCAR Brickyard 400 long-shot predictions
Sleeper pick to win: Chase Briscoe
+1567 at Kalshi
Chase Briscoe was on pace for a Top 10 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last year after starting on the pole and leading 34 laps, but finished 18th due to a late pit stop for fuel necessitated by a second overtime finish.
An accident at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta) masks the fact that Briscoe has been one the hottest drivers in the series of late. Taking that wreck out of the equation, the No. 19 has run Top 3 in three straight races, with huge 108+ driver ratings in each and 56 total laps led.

Sleeper pick to win: Carson Hocevar
+2400 at Kalshi
Carson Hocevar has made two starts at IMS, and both were high-quality efforts, putting him third among active drivers in average finishing position here.
Hocevar overcame a 30th-place start to run 12th in 2024, and ran Top 10 most of the day in 2025 to place 10th when all was set and done. He ran seventh in both stages.
The No. 77 is in good form at the moment, recording 90+ driver ratings in back-to-back efforts.
Play to +1800.
Sleeper pick to win: Austin Cindric
+4900 at Kalshi
Ryan Blaney won at Atlanta two weeks ago, and Joey Logano prevailed at North Wilkesboro last Sunday. I think Austin Cindric could make it a racing triple for Team Penske in July.
Cindric finished seventh in his first Cup Series start at IMS in 2024, and was on pace to better that effort last year. The No. 2 was in front for 40 laps after qualifying 10th (vs. 38th in 2024), but a rear tire failure forced an unscheduled pit stop that put Cindric a lap down.
That he battled back to get on the lead lap again and check in 15th shows what he's capable of here.
