2025 MLB Home Run Title Odds: Raleigh Cap Time

Cal Raleigh has surged thanks to 14 home runs in the last month to lead everyone in long balls. He's third on the odds board behind Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, but the race is no longer a runaway.

Aaron Judge still has the shortest MLB odds to lead the league in home runs in 2025.

However, Cal Raleigh has been on a total heater and has taken the lead in June.

Latest MLB HR title analysis

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh — affectionately known as Big Dumper — has found a new gear with his power stroke. The 28-year-old has hit at least 30 home runs in back-to-back seasons, so his power isn't a surprise, but he's already at 26 and leads all hitters with long balls.

A 50-homer season isn't out of the question. Since May 12, Raleigh is batting .302/.376/.781 with 14 home runs in just 109 plate appearances.

Los Angeles Dodgers DH Shohei Ohtani is second in that span with 11 home runs while Los Angeles Angels outfielder Taylor Ward and Houston Astros third baseman Isaac Paredes each have 10.

Raleigh is third on the odds board despite leading the bigs in home runs, and it makes sense. Aaron Judge and Ohtani have longer track records, so books aren't going to give you a much better price on them just because Raleigh is cruising.

But, it's worth remembering that Judge was nearly at -200 in this market a month ago.

Understanding MLB HR title betting odds

Betting MLB home run title odds is about as simple as it gets. You are just betting on which player will end the regular season with the most home runs in the MLB. HR title betting futures are usually shown in American-style odds and usually look like this:

  • Pete Alonso +800

This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $800 if Alonso wins the MLB home run title. Now, most of these markets close when the season starts. But some sportsbooks may post updated odds at different points in the season, and if one player has a large lead in home runs you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of their odds:

  • Aaron Judge -110

This means that you would need to bet $110 to win $100 on Judge winning the MLB home run title. If you want to see the odds in a different format check out our odds converter tool.
