Home run pick: Liam Hicks (+730)
Liam Hicks has taken the big leagues by storm this season. The Canadian-born catcher has slugged seven home runs already, and he’s also hitting .309. The 26-year-old has gone deep in two of his last three games, leaving the yard in back-to-back contests against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Hicks will face Andrew Painter today, who has given up home runs in two consecutive starts. He’s also allowed eight earned runs during that span. Opponents are hitting him hard, and Hicks is swinging it well. Home run No. 8 could be on the way.

Home run pick: Pete Alonso (+430)
Pete Alonso is starting to heat up lately for the Baltimore Orioles. He’s smacked two home runs across his last four contests, and Alonso is now up to five long balls on the year. He’s set to face Ryan Weathers today, a lefty who is struggling to keep right-handed batters in the ballpark.
All five of the homers Weather has allowed have been against righties like Alonso. Also, he’s given up four of those five bombs at Yankee Stadium. Alonso could benefit today in the Bronx against the southpaw.

Home run pick: Yordan Alvarez (+390)
Yordan Alvarez is second in the Major Leagues in home runs, slugging 12. He is also hitting .341, which ranks third. The Cuban is finding his best again after an injury-riddled 2025 campaign, and he’s consistently hitting the baseball hard.
He’s in the 94th percentile in hard hit percentage and the 100th percentile in xSLG. Alvarez has three hits across his last two games, and he went deep on Thursday against the Baltimore Orioles.
He’ll face lefty Connelly Early tonight of the Boston Red Sox, who has given up two of his four homers to left-handed batters. Alvarez is also hitting .381 off southpaws with five bombs.
