The Toronto Blue Jays own a 1-0 series lead on the Los Angeles Dodgers and hope to keep the good vibes rolling in Game 2 tonight at Rogers Centre.

There’s a lot of star power in both lineups, but it was youngster Addison Barger who came up with the big blast for the Jays last night, and with a righty on the mound for L.A., I think he'll strike again tonight.

Find out how I’m backing Barger with my free Blue Jays predictions and MLB picks for tonight's game.

Blue Jays World Series Game 2 best bet: Barger follows up his bomb!

Addison Barger Over 0.5 hits (-130 at BET99)

The Los Angeles Dodgers kept it close in Game 1, that was until the Toronto Blue Jays bats erupted for nine runs in the sixth inning, headlined by an Addison Barger pinch-hit grand slam — the first ever in a World Series.

Barger will be in the starting lineup tonight with a right-hander on the mound for L.A. The Jays slugger has been swinging a hot stick lately, riding a six-game hitting streak, posting a 1.447 OPS over that stretch, while going over his posted total in 8 of 11 games this postseason for a hit rate of 73%.

Barger’s batting profile matches up well with Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Dodgers starter gives up a fair amount of hard contact, with a 39.7% hard-hit rate.

Meanwhile, Barger smokes the ball, ranking in the 91st percentile in hard-hit rate this season, including the grand slam home run in Game 1, where he tattooed the ball at 106.2 mph.

Barger's splits of fly-balls and grounders are fairly even, but his power has allowed a lot of those ground-balls to sneak through the infield. Given Yamamoto’s high ground-ball percentage, I’m banking on some more hard-hit singles into the outfield, or maybe even another Barger blast into the seats.

Saturday’s Blue Jays Game 2 same-game parlay (SGP)

Addison Barger Over 0.5 hits

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

Blue Jays team total Over 3.5

I'll continue to bet on the Jays bats tonight by taking Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to go Over 1.5 total bases. He’s hitting .447 with a 1.411 OPS. He’s also an excellent fastball hitter and has gone Over this total in eight of 12 playoff games.

For the final leg, let’s also go Over 3.5 on the team total. Toronto is averaging 6.83 runs per game and tagged the Dodgers for 11 in Game 1 on 14 hits and four additional walks. Toronto has gone Over the posed team total in five of its last six games.
