We’ve got a busy MLB betting slate today, including the series finale between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Tigers.

Bo Bichette has been on fire and has a favorable pitching matchup with Jack Flaherty starting for the Tigers. My Blue Jays predictions expect him to continue to swing a hot bat this afternoon.

Blue Jays predictions for July 27

Today’s Blue Jays best bet: Backing Bo's bat

Bo Bichette Over 1.5 total bases (-118 at BetVictor)

The Toronto Blue Jays smell blood in the water and are looking to strike tonight to complete the four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers. It’s been an extremely one-sided series to this point, with many Toronto batters getting involved.

One of the hottest bats for Toronto has been Bo Bichette, and I expect that to continue tonight as I back his total bases prop. Bichette has gone Over this number in six of his last seven games, hitting .290 in that stretch with seven extra-base hits, averaging 2.5 bases per outing.

The pitching matchup favors Bichette as well, with the Tigers sending Jack Flaherty to the mound. The Jays shortstop is 4-for-10 against him throughout his career with a .955 OPS.

Flaherty’s pitching arsenal includes a four-seamer, a curveball, and a slider. The fastball gets used the most with a 47% usage rating, resulting in a lot of hard contact, ranking in the 20th percentile in hard-hit rate. Bichette is hitting .308 with a .474 slugging rate against the four-seamer this season.

His patience should shine through as he waits for the fastball over the plate to smack it into play, and hopefully for extra bases for the easy cash.

Today’s Blue Jays same-game parlay (SGP)

Bo Bichette Over 1.5 total bases

Addison Barger Over 1.5 total bases

George Springer Over 0.5 runs

I’ll continue to back the Toronto bats and take George Springer to record another run tonight. He has a .545 OBP over his last seven games and has parlayed those at-bats into 11 runs over that stretch, crossing home plate in seven straight outings.

For the final leg, I’ll take Addison Barger to go Over 1.5 total bases as well. Flaherty gives up a lot of hard contact, especially to lefties. Barger crushes the baseball and has gone Over this number in six of his last 10 games, averaging 2.2 bases per game in that stretch
