HR picks for July 27
Kyle Schwarber (+235 at DraftKings)
The New York Yankees host the Philadelphia Phillies to kick off Sunday’s slate. Philadelphia’s Kyle Schwarber was the hero of the All-Star Game, showcasing his power in the swing-off.
He's been riding that momentum ever since, blasting six home runs in the eight games following the break. That success is likely to continue against Carlos Rodon, who takes the mound for New York.
Through 11 plate appearances against Rodon, Schwarber boasts a .700 slugging percentage and .740 expected slugging (xSLG), with one home run.

Where to watch: YES
Nick Castellanos (+400 at DraftKings)
Another Phillies hitter to back in this game is Nick Castellanos. Like Schwarber, Castellanos has previously homered against Rodón.
His numbers against Rodon are even stronger, as Castellanos sports a .769 slugging percentage and .819 xSLG through 15 plate appearances.
While Rodon has performed well overall this season, he has struggled with surrendering hard contact. Entering this matchup, he ranks in the bottom half of the league in average exit velocity, barrel rate, and hard-hit rate.

Where to watch: YES
Jonathan Aranda (+285 at DraftKings)
Shortly after, the Cincinnati Reds host the Tampa Bay Rays. Jonathan Aranda has been tremendous for the Rays, and his underlying metrics suggest the second half of the season could be even better than the first.
Aranda ranks in the 91st percentile or higher in xSLG, average exit velocity, and hard-hit rate. Meanwhile, Brady Singer takes the mound for Cincinnati. He's 3-for-6 against Singer with one home run and a .937 xSLG.
