The New York Mets will look to righty Kodai Senga to lead the way in a three-game sweep over the San Francisco Giants on Sunday Night Baseball.

San Fran has been held to just a single run in consecutive games, and my Mets vs. Giants predictions and top MLB picks are calling for New York to take care of business at Oracle Park on Sunday, July 27.

Mets vs Giants best bet analysis

The New York Mets have beaten up on the San Francisco Giants in consecutive contests to start their three-game set, and the Mets have a clear pitching edge tonight with Kodai Senga toeing the rubber.

While Senga is still working his way back from a hamstring injury that cost him approximately a month of action, the San Fran lineup doesn’t pack much punch. The Giants are 25th in wOBA and 26th in ISO over the past 30 days, and respectively rank 22nd and 24th against righties for the campaign. Plus, Senga sports a tidy 2.60 ERA across his 45 MLB starts.

Turning to the New York bats, the Mets have the seventh-lowest BABIP in baseball over the past 30 days and are positioned to flip the script with the Giants lined up for a bullpen game.

San Fran has lefty Matt Gage lined up to start, and righty Carson Seymour penciled in for middle-innings work. The duo has combined for just 15 2/3 innings in the majors this season, so I’m expecting the New York lineup to do enough damage while Senga holds the Giants in check.

Mets vs Giants same-game parlay analysis

Mets star Juan Soto is mired in a mini, 15-game slump with an ugly .280 wOBA, .185 ISO, and .660 OPS. Considering he’s posted respective .401, .24,7 and .946 career marks, this skid is temporary.

Turning to the final leg of this SGP, Giants bomber Rafael Devers is most definitely not in a funk at the dish. He’s picked up six runs, 12 hits, and five RBI across his past eight games, and his .259 batting average against righties this year is well below the .289 mark he posted across the prior three seasons.
