Blue Jays Picks, Predictions & Best Bets for ALDS Game 3 on October 7

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has shown up when it matters most, helping guide the Blue Jays offense through the first two games against the Yankees. He won't slow down in Game 3 even as the venue shifts to the Bronx.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has crushed New York Yankees pitching and has cashed his total bases prop in seven straight meetings against the Bronx Bombers, yet he is still somehow plus money to go over the number tonight.

Find out why I’m betting the over once again with my free Toronto Blue Jays predictions and MLB picks for this Tuesday, October 7 matchup.

Blue Jays ALDS Game 3 best bet: Vlad the Impaler

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases (+115 at BET99)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is rising to the occasion this postseason, and I expect him to continue swinging a hot bat as the Toronto Blue Jays look to sweep the New York Yankees.

The slugger is 6-for-10 with a pair of home runs, including a monumental grand slam in the fourth inning of Game 2, combining for 12 total bases through the first two games of the series.

It has been a continuation of plate dominance against the Yankees, after posting a .373 average with a 1.007 OPS, while averaging 2.23 bases per game across 13 regular-season contests against his AL East rival.

He should continue mashing in tonight’s potential series-clinching game, especially when considering his stellar career numbers against Yankee starter Carlos Rodon

Guerrero is 10-for-17 in his career against the veteran lefty, posting a 1.608 OPS with four extra base hits, four walks, and zero strikeouts. He’s also averaging 2.28 total bases per game against the Yankees starter.

Vlad’s total bases prop is once again set at 1.5, and is still offering plus money on the Over (+115), despite clearing that number in seven straight contests against the Yankees and in both games in the series.

Additionally, Guerrero loves hitting at Yankee Stadium. He's had more home runs in that building than any other ballpark across the majors not named the Rogers Centre, and owns a career 1.002 OPS in New York, averaging 2.43 total bases per game.

Today’s Blue Jays Game 3 same-game parlay (SGP)

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Over 1.5 total bases

Ernie Clement Over 0.5 hits

Shane Bieber Over 5.5 strikeouts

Ernie Clement has crushed left-handed pitching all season long, hitting .326 with a .900 OPS against southpaws.

Shane Bieber is averaging 5.28 strikeouts per start. However, I expect him to rack up higher punchout numbers against this Yankee club, which has already struck out 21 times through two games this series.

Additionally, the Yanks struggle with the slider, which is Bieber’s put-away pitch that garners a 36.7% whiff rate.
