The Atlanta Braves have one of the most feared lineups in baseball, and tonight they host the Cleveland Guardians and vulnerable starter Slade Cecconi.
That matchup headlines my favorite MLB picks for today in the "no run first inning" and "yes run first inning" markets.
Here are my best free NRFI and YRFI bets for Friday, April 10.

Twins at Blue Jays: YRFI (-115)
The Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins have struggled at the dish. However, Minny is starting to hit better while Toronto has big hitters at the top of its lineup. Both sides should generate runs today against a pair of underwhelming starters.
Minnesota righty Simeon Woods Richardson has pitched to an impressive 2.31 ERA through two starts. That said, his expected ERA is at 3.90, which is more in line with his 4.11 ERA in 50 starts over the last two years.
Meanwhile, Patrick Corbin makes his season debut for the Jays after years of being one of the worst starters in the bigs. Corbin logged a 4.40 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP last year, which was actually his best season since 2019.

White Sox at Royals: NRFI (-121)
These is a clash between two of the worst offenses in the bigs. The Chicago White Sox are 29th in the majors in OPS (.606) while the Kansas City Royals are 22nd in slugging (.348) and have yet to plate a run in the first inning this year.
The White Sox will have Davis Martin on the bump tonight and he's been sharp, pitching to a 2.46 ERA through two starts.
The Royals counter with Kris Bubic, who was roughed up in his last start but allowed just two hits and one run in his season debut. The southpaw pitched to a sparking 2.55 ERA in 20 starts last year.

Guardians vs Braves: YRFI (-107)
Atlanta Braves righty Bryce Elder has looked fantastic through two starts this year. That said, he had a 5.30 ERA in 28 starts last year.
He faces a Cleveland Guardians lineup that seems due for positive regression since it ranks fifth in the majors in barrel rate and eighth in xSLG (.405).
But the main reason to like the YRFI bet is because Atlanta's potent lineup faces Slade Cecconi.
Cecconi has a 5.23 ERA this year after posting a 4.64 FIP in 23 starts last season. The Braves rank second in the majors in xSLG (.449) and run first inning rate (53.9%).

What is a NRFI bet?
NRFI (No Run First Inning) and YRFI (Yes Run First Inning) bets add a thrilling twist to the start of an MLB game. A NRFI bet is a wager that no runs will be scored in the first inning. You're betting that the starting pitchers for both teams will get through the first inning without allowing any runs, whether by striking out batters, inducing ground balls, or through solid defensive play.
A YRFI bet is the exact opposite. You're betting that at least one run will be scored in the first inning. In this case, you’re hoping for an early offensive burst such as a leadoff walk, a timely hit, or even a home run.
NRFI and YRFI bets add excitement to the early part of a game and offer immediate gratification for bettors looking for a quick resolution.
