The wait is nearly over! The 2025 NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 4 when the Dallas Cowboys travel to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles.
This isn’t just another game. It’s the latest chapter in one of the NFL’s fiercest rivalries - a grudge match fueled by decades of animosity, iconic moments, and fanbases that can’t stand the sight of each other.
Philly dominated the series last season, dismantling Dallas twice in emphatic fashion: 34-6 in Week 10 and 41-7 in Week 17. Those lopsided victories sent a clear message that the NFC East belongs to the Eagles until proven otherwise.
