The PGA Tour gears up for its annual stop at TPC Deere Run for the John Deere Classic, and it's a thin field headlined by Charles Schwab champ Ben Griffin.
No one else on the board is fetching odds shorter than 20/1. We break down the rest of the field in our John Deere Classic odds below.

John Deere Classic field
Ben Griffin has managed to maintain some impressive form dating back to a T8 at the PGA Championship and his win at the Charles Schwab. He's gone runner-up, T10, T14, and T13 in four starts since then, and now returns to TPC Deere a year removed from a T5 finish in his debut.
He'll be teeing it up for the fourth straight week and the eighth time in nine weeks. Either way, he's the No. 1 choice at 14/1.
Denny McCarthy is the No. 2 choice thanks to some quality results at this venue. He's on a T6-T6-T7 run here over the last three years and is also coming off a T12 result at the Travelers Championship two weeks ago.
Jason Day is third on the board after a week off following a T5 at the Travelers. His career-best result here at TPC Deere Run is a T15, though that came all the way back in 2009 and 2010. He's played the event twice since then and finished T23 a year ago.
J.T. Poston and Si Woo Kim round out the Top 5 at 28/1 and 30/1 apiece. Defending champion Davis Thompson is on the board at 33/1.
