We will win some and we will lose some
But we will win more than we will lose
Just apply sound money management principles and you will do just fine.

I am figuring out the advantages right now. It looks like you already did that.
I will be posting the new rules within the hour. A few changes to take into consideration the volatility in the power ratings.
Usually, I wait until the middle of May when the data is more reliable before I start using this approach. This is the very first time I am using this idea so early in the season.

Can we start a new thread at the beginning of the series... ??
Any thoughts.
Keeping all the info in the same thread will make it easier for people to follow what we are doing.

Here are the new rules I mentioned earlier. There are minor changes so that we can take into consideration the volatility in the power ratings:
Rule 1: PR (power rating) advantages are calculated daily
Rule 2: Teams with a PR advantage of 5.00 or better are taken into consideration
Rule 3: If 4 teams or less meet the requirement in Rule 2, the 5 teams with the biggest PR advantage will be taken into consideration
Rule 1 basically says that PR advantages are nolonger calculated at the beginning of each series but daily. A team can meet the requirement in Rule 2 any given day and may not the following day. If that happens, the team will be dropped. We saw what happened with Pittsburgh.
Rule 2 is self explanatory
Rule 3 is to make sure that we will always have at least 5 teams to work with. If we can find 5 teams or more with a PR advantage of 5.00 or better, great. If not, we will take into consideration the 5 teams with the biggest PR advantage. Take a look at Seattle these last few days. Seattle had a PR advantage slightly below 5.00. They swept Baltimore.
