hello Nabil which play for tonight

Yankees seems good but LAA lost 2 at home againts tigers so you think they will lost another one ?

Phillies in Arizona seems good too but PR = 4.8 very near from 5

Minesota needs to bounce back against KC

Nabil, very interesting concept/system. I've been doing my own analysis and, thus far, the games I like are Oakland and Yankees (I know Minny has that PR of around 7 or so but the pitching match-up makes me a little nervous) and possibly Tampa (although that one, too, I'm on the fence about).

In any event, I'm sending you a friend's request. I think you're definitely on to something here and, as you indicated, there's always strength in numbers, in terms of obtaining feedback with respect to filters/other insights which will hopefully improve this strategy down the road.

* NY Yankees: +5.9

* Philadelphia: +4.8     (Rule 3)

* Oakland: +4.3     (Rule 3)

* Milwaukee: +3.9     (Rule 3)

I think it is too early to take home/away into consideration.
These teams have a small amount of games to determine rankings already, the amount of home/away games is too small to get anything close to an accurate adjustment

Sorry for anyone who read my earlier post, apparently some of my pitching match-ups were wrong.  Bold ones are my favorites in the series we're looking at:

CLE @ OAK
Duchscherer/Westbrook, Anderson/Carmona, Gonzalez/Masterson

NYY @ LAA
Burnett/Santana, Pettitte/Piniero, Vazquez/Kazmir

MINN @ KC
Pavano/Meche, Blackburn/Hochevar, Slowey/Bannister

PHI @ AZ
Hamels/Benson, Figueroa/Kennedy, Kendrick/Lopez

CUBS @ MIL
Dempster/Suppan, Lilly/Davis, Wells/Bush (I don't like any of these MIL matchups)

Tomorrow looks tough.

My opinion - Yanks are a good pick but I think the point of this thread was to narrow it down to one "best bet" each day.  I agree with Nabil in that Oakland is a better play.  CLE is a worse team, traveled from MIN to OAK & are coming off a road win.  Being 2-11 in their last 13 in OAK and 3-24 overall on the road dating back to last year doesn't bode well for them going back-to-back away from home.

If you feel strongly about 2 plays, it's ok

The point is to narrow the games down to the plays you feel confident betting your money on

Yesterday I really liked Florida and I came close to adding that play. I didn't because I noticed a sharp line movement indicating somebody was betting a lot of money on Houston at Pinnacle which got me concerned. I wish I didn't do that

Well sure, we can make as many plays as we want - but I thought the point of this thread was to narrow down our options to the best plays and inevitably pick one "sure thing" a day to prove the strength of this attempt at a system.

You missed the "as well as" part....so you are not a proponent of taking TWO plays on a night? Scan back and see I said the Yankees and Oakland were the best picks of the day......just wondering why you are not ALSO on the Yankees.....Thanks.

Why I am not on the Yankees ! Hmm that is a good question. Yankees are one of those teams that defy logic, my logic as far as I am concerned

If I had a dime everytime I bet on the Yankees and they lost and if I had a dime everytime I bet against them and they won, I would be rich enough to make Bill Gates look like he is on welfare.

Every gambler out there has a team that send chills down his spine. The Yankees do that to me quite often
