Where are you getting the team rankings??? I went to teamrankings.com and printed off the rankings and they do not match the numbers posted earlier.

A team with a lower PR than 5.0 is not necessarily a better play than a team over 5.0. That's where capping comes into play. It all depends on the particular situation.

You may be looking at the overall ratings and not at the away, home ratings

I tend to look at how teams are playing and find that if a team battles and loses say 5-4 with some runs in the 9th (when they lost ) or come back to win it carries over ..

Clearly, when a team has it's ace on the hill that would help too.

I just don't play it blindly ..

Also, teams that get shut out , no hit ..often win their next game .. take extra bp .. meet with the hitting coach .. etc..

I like the Nats tonight because Ivan Rodriquez can help the rookie pitcher on the mound .

Philly is a nice selection today too.

if I like the play, I will bet the -1 spread

Betting the runline is scary without protection. I do it on occasions when I feel very strongly about a play and if the team I like is playing on the road (they play the 9th inning nomatter what)

How do you all feel about keeping all the info in the same thread ?

All you would have to do is go to the last page to find out what is going on lately
