Like all your dogs, Cap.  Except for maybe Houston who is going with a relief pitcher just out of triple A.  Houston has won 2/3 of games since start of season so Cubs should win at least one this series.  That being said, I still would not take Cubs with that price.

I crunched some numbers from teamrankings or whatever and a few games jump out.

Colorado is +6.7
NYY is +3.6
Philly is +4.1
Cubs are +2.8

I haven't been referring to PR ratings much, but WOW they don't appear very reliable!

I use them just to get a feel of what games I think need some more research. You should never just look at them and then bet. Sometimes I think a game is an easy call and then find out that the rankings have it much closer. I look into those as well. Some games like that last night were the White Sox and Twins and Blue Jays.

Sure the PRs are still worth looking at. I was comparing current  PRs to the early part of season when they were more reliable for predicting results of games.  We had a good winning streak based on the relative PRs alone in the early part of this thread.

What happened to Nabil's power rating system?  I noticed he stopped posting around page 46. 

I think I saw his record at 11-4 at one point. Anyone know what it is now or what it was when he posted last?

Seemed like a solid system

He replied to a PM I sent him and all he said was that he stopped posting as a protest for Covers removing his thread to Website and Promotions. I totally agree with him that Covers should not have done that. After all, he wasn't promoting his or any other site. He just mentioned once where he got the ratings from. However, I don't agree that he should have stopped helping others in here with his system.

All he had to do was start another thread and when anyone from that point on would ask where he gets the ratings from, he would tell them to go check out his other thread in website and promotions.
