If you are doing system C:
If you bet 1 unit every time. Would you get a small gradual profit over the season, stay even, or lose eventually?

The overall records for completed series as of 2/6 are as follows:

Ok, I keep seeing lots of winners. I'm going to start putting $55.00 on each system C play you've got without increase of my units depending on the chase.

When I asked my question before you were answering about completed series. Individually, I'm seeing System C with 156wins and 13 losses and system A pretty much has a 10:1 winning ratio.

Should I assume that If i play only your system C plays I'll be overall ahead by quite a bit without increasing my units played?

Jabroni, let me try one more time... 

If you play 1 unit per game, without increasing units (see my 2/7 post), you would pick up one unit for every win and lose one unit every loss.  The post on 2/7, showed system C overall wins-loss record at 149-120-14 (+29 units).  This is overall games, you would have been up 29 units betting 1 unit a game and never increasing it, therefore you don't play a chase.  This may be no better than playing a single unit on a team's next five or six games. 

By playing a chase, the series record on 2/7 was 149-12.  The number of series losses is determined by how many of those game threes lost (again see my 2/7 post).  For every series win you profit 1 unit (regardless of which of the three games wins).  But once you win any of the first two games, there is NO need to continue - the series stops.  If you win game one, you do not play games two or three.  By chasing, therefore you increase your units bet with each successive loss, you come out better because you only have to win at least 33% of the games in a 3-game chase to come out ahead.  Those twelve series losses take away 7 units per loss, but in the long run you come out ahead chasing as most series do not win on the first or seconds games of the chase.  The downfall of a chase is, when a series loses, that is 7 units out of your pocket.  But there have been many more series wins to offset those series losses.

Assume in all series, we only win on the third games of every chase (for systems A or C).  As of 2/7, there were 161 series that qualified for system C.  If all series were won at the third game, the first two must have lost.  So playing your one unit per game you would have 161 wins and 322 losses (and be down -161 units), whereas plying the chase, your series would be 161-0 - winning only 33% of the games and be +161 units.

You are playing more than one game on average per series, why, because not all game one chases win.  Therefore, playing your single unit every game, if your game one does not win, you NEVER make a profit even if game 2 hits (because you are even at best).  Hope that clears it up. 

One other thing....

You really do not know which method will work for any given season.  You can go 6-1 in series wins, winning 6 first game chases and losing a three game chase,  go 6-3 in games and STILL be 1 unit down if you chased, whereas playing your one unit per game would come out ahead.  This season, there are a lot of games winning on or before the third game.  And the reason the two game chases are ahead must mean that most of the series MUST be won in those first two games.... 

I cannot make you play the system and I am not guaranteeing this system works next season or the season afterward.  It happens to work this year.  You can go off on your own and play the games however you like.  Choice is yours.....     Best of luck!
