I backed away from the game because of the rain.

Still not sure how we keep getting different numbers if we're all using Statfox. But, for the most part, the plays are still the same as I'm only playing the big variances. (Though I have pretty much the opposite of what you have for LSU.) That North Texas/Troy game is going to my biggest play of the week.

Question why are roughshods and VGPOP numbers different?

Answer to earlier questions: VGPOP and I use the same starting formula & continue to alter it looking for better results. Keep up the great work VGPOP & others who keep testing and asking what if we try this.

Im a keen follower of this system, however I am wondering why we seem to have ALOT of Dogs and Road teams for both NFL and NCAA this week? Has this been a general trend over both seasons?

Here are the games I got for week 7 using roughshod's  first system and sos.  I also -1.5 to away team +1.5 to home team for HFA.  I then adjust the score if needed as roughshod points out,  to make it real.

Yeah Coatsy,  Especially with Buf winning by 7 and being 7 point underdogs!  I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Ya the more I look at that game i think I like Buffalo SU.. Fitz getting the book down their D can manage to keep them in this one, Panthers have been just awful this year Delhomme's age catching up to him I think. Might be a good spot here for the Bills, they have to get TO into the mix more often, get him in some screens, possible wildcat plays wouldn't hurt either..

Early on the NCAA stuff is looking fairly decent..

Ohio is projected to win by 16. Line is -9.5 or -10

Difference of +6.5 or +6.0

I agree Coasty.  I mean Buf is bad but Car. is terrible no matter where the game is played.  I just hope is doesn't turn into a coaching battle, with Buf in my estimation being "short changed"

Do not use the numbers as predictive score, simply back the team with the higher number..

roughshod, vgpop, or anyone who understands the system and excell.  Would you be willing to take a look at the spreadsheet I put together in excel in order to perform my calculations. I just can't seem to come up with the predidctions that you all are getting and I don't know where my mistake is please help.

Ya I monitored it in the first half of todays games and the numbers I am asssuming are predicitive scores, they weren't even close in most cases, but, I noticed that the team with the higher number covered at a 10-2 clip at the time of my post..

does any1 kno the record for this system... ncaa or nfl?
