3 Put - I believe you possess a low I.Q. You continually ask redundant questions. You have been scolded and were recommended multiple times to "READ THE THREAD FROM THE BEGINNING."
You 3put are like a small child who wanders into a room and demands to know whats going on. You are a distraction to myself and others who use this thread as intended. Again read the thread from the beginning, gain knowllage then ask intellegent questions and be welcomed by all. - BLKN

No, not at all, although I am familiar with this type of wager, I have yet to incorporate it into the BR/RC PAC format...

I tend to agree with your brief assessment of the accuracy BR/RC possesses as a 'tool' for TeamTotals wagering...stats attached to reasearch concept, would be a well received contribution...best regards SN

Sorry, it was an attempt to be constructive.

I could not ask intelligent questions if I possess a low IQ, could I?

I don't know how you are able to talk for other than yourself, but as I don't want to be a distraction to you (or anybody) consider this my last post in this thread.

Question to you my friend where to begin to learn anything that would put me as sitting at the "same table of concept" as you but with some knowledge so as not be in a popsition to be that frustrated. I love sports love numbers and money seems that this could be great and also could be lethal I am doing what I can to make sure it doesnt become the later.

Units are posted in FINAL RESULTS as a convenience to coincide with wagering tickets for documentation purposes, and as a "courtesy"  for the cappers involved in PACformulated play who understand what's going on in advance...This thread is by far; not for the in-experienced, however, I would classify it as a study engine for the Novice/in-experienced capper, thirsty to learn and develop his 'form'..grasp insight, and understand the concept of the BR/RC formula...to this, my door is always open, as is PM, on a question, and answer format...Thx for the kind words 'kagge' please activate for further discussion...best regards

I as you have stated am in-experienced though not a handicapper I am looking to gain this knowledge and learn this no matter the baby steps required. I can I am well aware go onto google and typr in search words and phrases that will get me some form of information. at this point I looking to see what your recommendation is so that when I come back here I do not feel completely overwhelmed but have at the minimum an understanding that allows those in my position [frustrated but respectful and looking to learn] to begin to gain this knowledge.

    Your Help Is Greatly Appreciated

OK so now that I have proved to myself that I am impatient and a tad on the lazy side (ok now I'll use tired as the entire excuse)  I have figured that I will start reading this thread from the beginning and after doing so, feel a bit of a fool at the bottom of my avatar.

That being said please take a few minutes to take your shots at me (all that read this) so as when I make a triumphant return I can make a full fledged apology that is taken seriously.

I will read this entire thread post by post before asking anymore questions.

As this thread enters its fourth month and creeps closer to 2000 posts There appears to be more questions about units and BR management.
For those that have a desire to increase there knowledge  and are unaware of Bayesian inference. Do yourself a favor and do some homework.
For an advantage bettor wagering is not about picking winners but rather about associating probabilities with various outcomes.  Equipped with initial probability estimates (prior), advantage bettors should then utilize market evidence, broad-based market prices to infer (posterior) probabilities by a process known as "Bayesian inference". These posterior probabilities, which when taken in conjunction with available prices determine edge and then ultimately bet size.  Hopefully this will shed some light om the subject.

Okay, I read a bit about BI, and it made my head hurt.

I'll just keep reading the thread. I have a friend who takes statistics at UNC. I'll see if he can understand it.
