OK - SN -- am - I've read post 508 and couple of pages b4 and after.
I am at a roadblock thought as to how many units you assign individual plays. Do I need to reference all those sources to get the answer or is there a more concise way of figuring out how I can make those unit # assignments.

I am in agreement with toft on this one. I have read this thread a couple times and i have also read the wiki-refences. I have also read some online baseball prospectus'. However, what i cant read is your mind.
I appreciate all the work you do and time you take to post your picks. But it would be greatley appreciated if you would post your units-per-play with it.
Until that happens I just cant see or believe that you can go 5-3-1 and be up 14.35 units for the day.
Please keep up the good work and help us out by posting unit amounts with the play. Thank You.

At a first glance, the method looks impressive. Especially the bet sizing. So I looked closer for the stated ability to determine value. I went over the first ten days, looking at totals only. The method went 14-15-1, and had only two winning days. I'm sure that if you bet 1000 on each win and 10 on each loss, you end up way ahead, but unless you state that upfront, you're messing with people's minds. Respectfully,

Like cappin' your win...you also must capp your MM. which totally overpowers your winning % and provides 'insurance' when putting together a 'package' (four plays or more) The amount of unit$ wagered on each play is determined by the strength of the lean, and the value it possesses'....This is the concept behind the many MM formula's applied to MLB package play, with the core being the RL...a capper could go 3-4 (as I did a couple day's ago) and still come out with +2unit$...thus, a capper on the same Identical plays, with in-correct MM could go 4-3, and be -2unit$ by a blink..
The key ingredient to MM is the almighty Bankroll, with an improper BR, a capper is at a severe dis-advantage, regardless of how successful his form is initiated..How does one acquire a BR, to begin correct MM? Can it be done through sports wagering? Are their any formula's attached to the BR syndrome? What's the ideology behind a sports wagering/investment BR?

Toft, KBit. DH21 and the others that have brought up this point, thanks!!!!! Someone finally called him on this "refer to post # for the answer", thats total BS. I have been monitoring this thread for awhile and I also appreciate the work SN puts in but the work is worthless to anyone that reads this thread because SN is non-repsonsive about the particular things he doesnt want to talk about. He preaches money management but fails to share his with the group, BS. When asked he has continually given that same canned response see post #so and so for your answer. He takes the time to cap the games and list them here with one exception and by his own word the most important portion of his "system" he fails to post, amazing. Time for everything but that. I dont know why anyone would follow his plays and play them because you have no clue what the ratings are, worthless. So all this work he is doing has no value to anyone unless you can read his mind. I hope you can convince him to share his units and then that way you dont have to refer to some vague post about units and can actually follow with some confidence. Nothing personal SN just stating facts, its no good without units

In regards to the recent posts regarding money management.......
You all make valid points regarding the fact that SN does not directly state his units each game, and I am sure he has his reasons for this, but I think you are all missing the big picture.
SN is kind enough to share his knowledge on a daily basis, and has provided valuable insight on dozens of topics. That in itself is enough. He isn't posting to sell you something, he is simply documenting his handicapping methods and is kind enough to share his knowledge with the rest of us.
But considering the fact that everyone is reading this thread just to make a buck....it is also worth noting the SN has been producing impressive winning percentages for months now. I can't really think of any MM system in which you would be losing money following his picks. He picks winners. That is enough. Every individual should have their own MM system and can apply it accordingly, SN should not have to do that for us.
Forget about how he weights his games. That is his business. The guy has proven himself to be an extremely effective handicapper, that ought to be enough.

Well my MM system is to play games evenly. If I wanted to follow his system I would be losing money with my MM and his system. Now if Sports Network wanted to list his units per play with picks it would make this a lot easier.
I understand he has no obligadtion to do this and i also understand that he is doing all this for free. However, I respect others on this site to not mislead them and I hope others would do the same. I like to think of Covers as a place where most posters are honest and not lying to look better. Im not accusing anyone of lying, but until Sports Network starts posting units with plays how am I to believe that he goes 4-6 on a given day and still makes 2+ units, or goes 5-3-1 and wins an astounding 14+ units in a day.
Im not saying it cant be done. But it needs to be stated before the fact, not after.
Billwag is correct when Sports Network does give out useful info. And we all do appreciate his effort. However, this site isn't for trying to impress people, its for finding effective ways to beat books. And I would hate to think that someone is embellishing their records for the sake of trying to look better.
I apologize for any typo's as I have had a few tonight, but this has been bothering me for some time. I dont mean this post as a method for trying to bash, but more as a means for being honest and forthcoming. BOL to everyone and please if I am wrong, let me know....and ill blame it on the alcohol.
