Cardinals -127 over the Brewers. The Brew Crew have lost 7 straight games, getting dominated in 6 of the 7 and is sending a struggling Gallardo to the mound. The Cards have won 7 of 10 and 11 of 15 and are sending Kyle Lohse to the mound.

I like the Reds -130 over the Cubs even better. Arroyo dominates the Cubs and the Cubs pitcher (Casey Coleman) is struggling.

We all do respect Quad but anytime you gotta guy named Nick Masset coming into the game in the late innings to help you close it out... you got major problems  Let alone Arroyo inconsistent sonofagun trying to get you there to bridge the gap. Just CANT stand those 2 guys. If anything the OVER looks enticing whenever Vegas set the line. GL tho on this pick as I hope you win. I picked the Reds yesterday on SFTC and I was on pins n needles when that BUM came in the 8th but he shut them down  BOL

Please don't feel that way, Getrdonrite7. My pick was made in the wee hours of the morning before I read anything on our thread. I regretted to see that we were on opposite sides of that game. I highly value your picks and insight to the point that I thought I was going to lose my pick. I thought you knew something that I didn't. As it turned out, the game was close to the finish and could well have gone either way. It probably was not a good game to pick for either of us. LoL. You are a great capper, in my opinion, and far from FADE material. Now let's get some wins today!  Best of luck, man!

Got early leans fa tomorrow: STL Cardinals OVER 8.5 (Both pitchers have WINLESS lifetime records against the opponent respectively and HIGH ERAs) Interesting thing is Lohse has improvement in last few starts in WHIP 0.99. Both bullpens on shakey which is key. I'd leave it alone if it goes pass 9 or 9.5. 
I like the ATL Braves +111 in this spot with the new farm prospect Teheran who has outstanding K/Walk ratio. On othahand Kendrick is a headcase but he normally gets boatload of run support when he starts  Last but NOT least I like the  Celtics -3 to snag pivotal Game 3 as they will get another big body (Shaq) to clog the lane shutting down easy baskets to a premium.   BOLA

Going with Detroit over 7.5, I like Detroit to win as well, Verlander pitching.. KEEP SURVIVING!

Over wasn't available on that game when I picked. I like the pick but I hope the pen doesn't ruin it.

 Today, I went with the St Louis Cardinals -127 over the visiting and slumping Brewers. This game sports my number one favorite situation: a streaky hot home team versus a slumping cold visitor. Getrdonrite had some great info on today's pitchers and I have noticed Lohse's resurgence. Also, I find it interesting to note that the Cards have scored six or more runs in their last four games. Meanwhile, the Brew Crew have totaled only seven runs on their way to losing their last seven in a row. Today I'm backing the on fire team to defeat the ice cold team:  REDBIRDS -127  BOLA!, especially the 25 Dime Club!

REDBIRDS -127 =       Well, if you keep running through stale green lights, eventually you are going to get into trouble and that's what happened  here.. Hats off to Yovanni Gallardo for pitching his ass off today. He got some amazing run support late as the Crew scored 3 runs in the top of the ninth, courtesy of Mr. Mitchell Boggs. It didn't matter anyway, since the one run was enough. Brewers 4-1 final over the Cards.

Reds -130 were up 2-1 before Francisco Cordero had his first blown save of the year, giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to lose 3-2. getronrite7 was right about this being wrong by default. However if the Reds offense had bothered to show up against Casey Coleman (who decided to pitch his best game of the year) in the 1st 6 innings this wouldn't have happened. Since I was at 1, it's no big deal but it will result in another avatar change.

Robinson Cano tripled in the 3rd to get me to 12 on Beat the Streak and Hot-streak.
@bama Baseball Hotstreak isn't giving out hats anymore. I did get a hat for getting to 10 on Basketball Hotstreak this season.

Since it's homer week here at 25 Dime Club what better way to go out than taking my Lakers +2.5. I refuse to believe the Lakers 2X Champs will be swept by the Mavs. This series should be 2-1 Lakers but we have somehow forgotten how to close games. I will take the first 43 min. of Game 3. If we play like that for 48 minutes we have a chance today. Game back in LA, win there and all of the sudden its a series again but the Lakers have got to bring their focused A+ game today or the dynasty is over. Go Lakers!
