Just for the record I'm going to see how Under "9"s and Over "6", "6.5" and "7"s start doing. I've taken Under 9 on the mlb contest league on all 4 games with that total Yankees/Tigers, Angels/Red Sox, Orioles/Royals, Rockies/Diamondbacks. I've taken Over 7 twice on Marlins/Cardinals and Rangers/Mariners. There is also a total of 7 on the Nationals/Phillies game but I'm not touching that with Lannan vs. Halladay although it "should" go under.

Angels/Red Sox Under 9 Yankees/Tigers Under 9 PUSH Orioles/Royals Under 9 These teams scored 5 runs in the 1st inning the amount that they got all game yesterday.
And Marlins with your choke job in the 8th inning another right pick loses. Notice that the Over 7 won but not the right team. Every time I lose a winning streak I never win the next pick.

Good read on Dallas outright win, Bama. Hope those guys please finish the deal at their house NO need heading back ta LA
Thanks, Getrdonrite! I had a feeling it would turn out that way. I have nothing against the Lakers and actually like Kobe, but Da Bulls are my team. The Mavs are alright, too. G'luck to you.

Congratulations on the Mavs +7 winning outright, hopefully they can take the next two and finish the series up ASAP!
Thanks, Quad_17! You know, I could see a sweep coming , as improbable as that seemed a couple of weeks ago, but you have to think that the Lakers might bear down and get one to make it interesting, at least. It would be surprising, though, if the Mavs don't win the series. G'luck to you. I am sorry about your pick losing today.

I should have known better but sometime I can't resist when it comes to the Yankees. I go down in flames!
Man, Smoothd20- that was tough. We should outlaw homer picks from our criteria, methinks. It seems like they are seldom ever good to us. Plus it's a double whammy if the pick loses because you lose your streak and you have to deal with your favorite team getting upstaged, as well. Here's to better days!

What is this? Homer week or something? Well, I am certainly not immune to the homer disease, either. My homer play is on the Atlanta Braves -125 over visiting Milwaukee. I woke up in the middle of the night, made my pick, and then went right back to sleep. I don't know if that was such a smart thing to do, but it is was it is. LoL. While both pitchers have fared well this season, I am looking for the Braves dominance in this home series to continue for one more game. Milwaukee has struggled against right handed pitching this season and has been struggling at the plate overall recently. Marcum has beaten the Braves at home. Beachy has beaten the Brewers on the road. Brandon Beachy has an impressive WHIP of just 0.58 over his last 3 starts. All stats aside, though, the main reason for my pick is to get a hot team at home against a cold team on the road. I always look for this kind of situation. If nothing changes, it could be another good night for the Bravos. BOLA!Atlanta Braves -125

Geeeeez shoulda took the latter of that baseball pick in Braves vs Brews game UNDER 7.5 thoseclowns of Brewer batters left Marcum out to dry! Whats frustrating is after he left the game the so-called brilliant manager puts in this rusty bum K. Loe to hold it down Guess what happens?? He gives up the winning run just like that J Johnson of Marlins in same predicament expecting him to be flawless and yet when he doesn't slip some they CANT buy any run support!!! Baseball can be soooo frustrating in late innings. Oh well enough of ranting & just live fa tomorrows pick I like the CLE Indians -113, Pirates -116, OVER 6.5 in myRockies vs GiantsgameBOLA tomorrow Dime Club

I feel like bonafide FADE material. Well if ONLY I could go back and change my pick LOL which I wish both of us would have won here but so be it congrats Bama. Keep it going.

Great call on the over, Sovicious4u. That was some hunch you had there about J.J.. It was prophetic! G'luck to you.
Thank you Barn, appreciate it.. Thanks quad also, GL to you guys... Today going with second option, Houston/Pitt over 7.5 as I think they should combine for 11 runs when it's all said and done. First option white sox over 6.5 not available, even though you get a feeling Seattle/Sox couldn't hit the ball sometimes if you were pitching underhand to them.. KEEP SURVIVING- SV

I don't think the Lakers have it this year after seeing how they melted in Game 1 and were horrible in Game 2 at home. Now with the series shifting to Dallas for Games 3 and 4 and Ron Artest is suspended for Game 3, the Mavs will want to finish this without making a trip back to LA. Even if Kobe scores 50 points I don't think that will save this otherwise disinterested Lakers team. Dallas Mavericks -2.5

Please don't feel that way, Getrdonrite7. My pick was made in the wee hours of the morning before I read anything on our thread. I regretted to see that we were on opposite sides of that game. I highly value your picks and insight to the point that I thought I was going to lose my pick. I thought you knew something that I didn't. As it turned out, the game was close to the finish and could well have gone either way. It probably was not a good game to pick for either of us. LoL. You are a great capper, in my opinion, and far from FADE material. Now let's get some wins today! Best of luck, man!

I am with you, Quad! I couldn't decide between the Chicago Bulls or Dallas. In the end I decided not to go "homer" for two days in a row, so I'm laying off my Bulls. Everything I've seen point to a Mavs win tonight. Dallas is 7-0-1 against the number so far in the postseason. My only concern is that the road team is 12-4-1 in the last 17 meetings between the Lakers and Mavericks. Oh well, our fate is sealed. BOLA! especially to the 25Dimers Club!MAVERICKS -2
