Study long study wrong. I have been playing these steak games for a few years now and I must say that the majority of the time when people wait until the last minute to make a pick they usually lose. I wish Atlheatholder good luck but there have been some great games that he passed up. Now he will be at the mercy of the mods because Monday is his last chance to pick. Unless he has a good idea what games are going to be posted I think you're at a disadvantage when you wait till the last day because the mods control the board. Of course my opinion don't mean diddly squat because I have never been in that position but from observation I have seen it happen to too many people on Survivor and SFTC.

I must say that Atlheatholder is a very patient picker.  I know you remember smooth when I was up there going for the money,  I was very patient.  My last pick that lost I waited til the 6th day.  The reason why I picked that day is because looking at day 7 lines I knew there would only be a few selections to choose from.  Maybe he has a game circled for Monday that he is waiting to jump on.  I hope so.  It is a part of the game and must be put into consideration when going for that money.  I honestly to this day don't believe that mods or anyone is controlling what is going on that board.  The parameters are set and the games are placed to play that fall within those.

He has gotten here by being patient,  and seems to be a knowledgeable capper,  I've seen his input on other forums.  I hope he gets that !  We need someone in  here to pop some money this February!

I wasn't able to get the Oregon St. /  Oregon matchup to day because of the consensus being over 70% on Oregon.   So I passed for today.  So Atlheatholder,  if you are thinking of mizzou/ texas,  that consensus is heavy on Mizzou right now.  Close to 70%. OVer that threshold and it will be off.

Just go for it all. in the end you're no worse off then when you started especially during basketball season. This game is impossible to win during baseball season.

Uconn blew it for me. oh well still getting a hat, gonna start the new streak with U of Penn. Princetons not very good on the road.

Are you saying they drop picks if consensus is to high? I've seen that message that says that. IMO they should be left up there, it's insta fade material.

Smooth,  my apologies.......  Looking at the Mizzou,  Texas game on the scores/lines page,  consensus is at 65% Mizzou,  it says pick not available for survivor.  Maybe they have taken it upon themselves to do what they please for whatever reason.  Doesn't make any sense as this is a tough game to call.

Exactly. They rotate these picks at their discretion. Not all games are posted even if consensus is below their limit. These guys are smart they're not going to do us any favors.

Thanks Crush. Like I have said many times they rotate those picks and when you wait till the last day I feel you make it tougher on yourself because you're at their mercy unless you have a Plan B. Here's to all the Plan B's out there.

I don't understand the rotate thing..... I don't know what happened this morning but it seems to have been up all day......  Anyways.  I locked in Missou today.  Now Leroy's in Vegas has Texas at -1 1/2.
