Painful way for my streak to end at 8. Bottom of the 9th 2 outs 1 runner on and the Braves Closer Kimbrel gives up a 2 run blast to Infante. Marlins win 6-5. Are you fucking kidding me!!! I was in Captown getting a room for the night and they denied my credit card. Unbelievable!!!! What a way for a beautiful streak to come to an end.

I saw NC State's 0-3 record ATS and Cincinnati's Thursday night proficiency over the years and took them. Hopefully that wasn't a mistake, but I'm very wary of taking baseball anymore because of shit like what just happened to you.

I haven't seen NC ST play this year but Cincy always has small lineman and it costs them every year. The better play on Thursday is the under especially with 2 teams that played the previous Sat. The total is already at 60 and getting hammered. If I had a streak I would wait til that total goes up a little more and then lock into the under.

I have been noticing lately that games where both teams are a minus and the game is not on SFTC the away team has been winning. A different variation of this angle that I will start to record. got caught up in SFTC and ignored just plays on here. It is hard this time of year to have the free time needed to track everything I would like to.

I'm sorry that I haven't been around over the last few days. I am again suffering from severe contest burnout syndrome! The massive amount of football games to capon the weekends has drained me of the usual energy that I have to come in here and post picks and analysis. It has been all that I could handle just to make the picks, let alone talk about them. As far as Streak Survivor goes, I am 13-6 this month. Respectable, but not great. I have been finding it difficult to get motivated to research again after a streak-ending loss occurs. I lost my five gamer Sunday on the stupid, no-defense playing, Green Bay Packers. I really wish that Carolina had beaten them! That would have made my day! If you can't cover the spread then just lose, damn it!
On SFTC- Don't even get me started on Streak for the Cash! What a disaster.
Anyway, I was sorry to see your hat bid go up in flames, Smooth. The worst part of it is that it was my Braves that blew the lead for you. Those stupid lights in Miami were at fault. Omar Infante never would have gotten to bat if Chipper had not lost that 2 out chopper in the lights. Chipper Jones said it best, I think, when he said, ""When you play baseball in a football stadium, I guess that happens from
time to time," he said. "It's just extremely bad timing. It's a pretty
helpless feeling when the game should be over and I had no clue where
the ball was after it bounced." I agree with him. Multi-purpose stadiums suck for baseball. That happens all of the time in Miami and also in San Diego, as well. Infielders often lose the ball after being blinded by those "football lights". It was just very bad luck that it happened right when it did.
Oh well. It is all water under the bridge and we just have to knuckle up and get back after it. The 25 Dime Club is on the prowl! Good luck to you guys. It's all just fun and games anyway.
