You guys may recall that I announced my pick of the Saint Louis Cardinals -130 late last night. I still stand by that pick as being the best on that slim board. The other two faves, CHI Cubs (if you can stomach backing Rodrigo Lopez!) and SD Padres (?) look like decent plays, as well. Not picking would also be a great option! Like I said, I am trying to get off the ground with a win one, so there is really nothing for me to lose.
As promised, I will post some links to some great Monday Night Football betting info and trends. Good luck to those who brave it this evening!

I am rolling today wit da Bunny on SFTC! I collected two easy wins with
VP WDL+1 winning outright 0-1 and the Manchester City slaughter of Swansea
4-0! I don't know why Joe "No Clue" Flores didn't pick either or both of
these. The German B2 game actually had similar odds to that Brazil/Spain U20
match. If he passed there, it is inexplicable that he did not leap in
with both feet on Manchester City! That was the lock of the century! I
guess he just likes to sweat them out, you know? Nothing too easy!
I am going to try to get two more wins today fo a grand total of four! I plan to accomplish this by picking my homer Braves followed by the Rangers if time permits. Good luck, 25 Dimers!

Im doing some serious mulling over whether or not to pick tonight...this is ridiculous
As you know the #1 rule in betting is be confident in your pick. I'd say if you are even remotely unsure on a team then stay away from them or that day. Not a bad idea to take a day off if needed.
And bama i'm sorry to steal your pick and post about it on my own. I'm going for w10 so hopefully we both can win tonight.

Bama we just agree on everything today. Manchester city couldn't have been a bigger favorite and although the 1st half went scoreless, once sergio aguero came on the whole game shifter and goals were pouring in. That was a definite lock like you said. I already had the braves picked for W3 on sftc with texas in mind for later. Good luck all around today

Good move Bama...I've got a huge W3 on there right now, last one on that Manchester Match of course .
Either way, I think I'm going to skip tonight...it saddens me a bit, I wanted to go, 25 days, 25-0...but I haven't been struck by lightning, OR won the lottery so far in my life, so Ill be slowing down to improve my odds.
With that said, how come this seems so much easier than SFTC yet the high streaks are incomparable? I know they offer more soccer matches and such...but come on now? This format of once daily requires people to slow down and think, especially without the edit pick ability, plus we get a week/pick?

I agree with you ,Krams, about the rule in picking! Be sure or don't pick.
As far as stealing my pick - No Worries! I in no way, shape , form or fashion thought that you "stole" my pick. It was simply the best one out there and we both took it. Besides, there really wasn't much else to choose from, now was there, brother? lol
Good luck on that Cardinals play! I hope we get it! W1o0 would be nice for ypou and I would like to get back in the W, myself.

I know, right? Good luck to you, as well. Go Bravos and go Rangers! Unless No Clue picks 'em that is! lol

Also a good play today might be the St. Louis Cardinals. Pittsburgh has lost 7 straight at home (against san diego and the cubbies) and currently just dropped a 3 game set in Milwaukee. Pittsburgh's starting pitcher is 0-2 with close to a 6.00 era in his past 3 starts. St. Louis is also very much in the NL central race and Pittsburgh has fallen 13 games out. Westbrook is also 5-1 in his last 8 road starts. Just something i was researching before making my pick today. GL to everyone today.
I like your pick . . . all over it

Thanks, Vector! I am also @ W3. I am looking to get four in a row today to make it to W5. That Manchester City match was something else. Why can they not all be that easy?
Skipping tonight is not a bad plan at all. If you don't feel it, you just don't feel it. Forcing a play could be disastrous and then you would be kicking yourself for not following your gut. This is not a race on here! Unless of course you are trying to win the monthly prize, which already seems far fetched even though it is only the 15th of the month. Some pickers have yet to lose one.
I wouldn't beat myself up too much about taking a day off. You have done great so far and it would be a shame to blow it on one of these questionable plays. You have been lucky about not getting struck by lightning. Not so much about the lottery. I get what you mean - lol. You will know when it is the right time to strike!
Well, ESPN seems easier to me. You can pick multiple games per day and the spreads they offer are not limited to -130. Sometimes ESPN even puts -300 favorites on the board! Just look at tonight. SFTC has ATL @ -145 and TEX -169. Lines with a -130 moneyline limit are closer to coin flip range and require much more research to get the feel for who wins. This can lead to overthinking. Plus, we do not always get that good of lines on a given day. Sometimes, all we get are several -105 - -110 type lines. That is what is good about football and basketball. In those sports we get spreads and if you know what you are doing you can jump on board early before the public and get a much better spread.
The other big difference is only getting one per day, I think. This causes people to be more careful. Overthinking sometimes forces bad picks. IDK. Sometimes it does seem easier on here. It depends on the day, I guess.
Good luck to you, brother.

the matchups tonight are just crazy...I was even thinking about going with the Cubs until I saw how shotty their starting pitcher is for tonight...a quick look over tomorrow doesn't say much either...we shall see
