The good thing about losing on my angle is I got to see the variable that was different

I thought Tampa was a lock based on an angle I have been playing

the difference in the Yanks game was the ending line on covers was (-150)....all other games that fit this trend the favorite went down from (-150) and stayed there despite the action on the favorite.....hope this observation  makes this angle easier to identify

Lesson learned Booyahz? Sometimes you just have throw the book out when you're going against your own team. Never go against the Yankees!

Well that makes a perfect 5 in a row on bodog this week and 2-0 on Smoothd's hate tour this week. The fact that Vazquez struck out 10 and pitched a good game but still got the loss is even more satisfying.  Good job Vazquez better luck next time. VAZQUEZ 10 K'S

yep.....a lesson learned is for sure......Im close on that angle.... I needed to lose that one

I did do pretty well with my NFL preseason picks

out of the 10 picks I went 8-2 with the 2 losses on totals that went under.....neither a surprise with scrubs who played sloppy


Baseball picking use to make me want to quit this game....lol
this year I was able to get to 11 .....glad football is here ......

ready for bets.....lol

and then take Stricker Steele or Dufner(golf clap)

I think these are the only 2 props I am picking tomorrow

Gonna look over the trends and angles for tomorrow later on....see if there is anything worth posting


Stricker shot a whopping 63 on the 1st round dont be surprised if he makes a run at Steele and Dufner

no one ever shot a 62

I got roasted on that Soccer prop with Argentina. They lost in Penalty kick to Portugal. There went my W5. I'm starting over now. I need to get to double digits in SFTC and get me Blue Star!

Two dogs to look at for sunday

Marlins at Home to SF

and OAK at home to TEXAS

 I dont have alot of results on this trend but both times it came up this month the home dog won SU

In the late game on SFTC the cards looks like the pick

the sunday night game has alot of similarities on my sheet to last week when the Yanks played.........

I think Jackson blows(which is perfect on SFTC...lol) but look for Cards to take the win in a close game

For Sunday on here I made the redemption pick....I took Yankees at -130

2).. Of course you would need to know someone in Vegas or have someone IN VEGAS do it for you..

I get what your saying but..Hedging is the smartest thing you can do..even in a free contest...whole point is to win ..or else WHY PLAY??? Lol. Pointlesssssssssss

Does anyone have any good angles/reads on todays games?  I'm thinking of just taking today off because being a redsox fan our manager always likes to rest 1 or 2 guys on sundays so it always seems like a tough day to bet.  Is this true on other teams too?  Thanks for any input.

tough picks out there today.....I only look at the games that are on SFTC , sportsparlor and this contest......my anhles and trends are a combination of all 3

look for dogs today....and lineups.....top players can get rest on a sunday day game after a SAT night game

If you want a favorite stay away from SF and TExas.....at least thats my feelings

Im taking the golf prop later on SFTC.....Steele and Stricker for the green.....lol

I hear ya, Booyahz.
It is sunny outside here and raining all over my SS pick! I went with the Yankees and will suffer a push. I got them yesterday afternoon at -130 and really thought I was "getting one over" on the contest.

     Oh well, looking on the bright side I feel no more pressure to win to stay with the monthly leaders. I have now fallen to 10-3-1 for August and can now focus on streaking with quality picks again.

Thinks for screwing me covers.
I tried the Giants 5 times with Vogelsong over Volstad and I got the No pick screen each time. On SFTC you don't get blocked if 95% is on one side, here you get blocked at 70%. What is covers actually afraid of?.... that I'll actually win a pick. Given that I'm at 0 they should have let me in anyway. That is rude and insulting. Due to dreadful performances from the Chiefs and Vikings I've taken my 300th survivor loss before I can get my 300th win. I'll try to see if the 3rd time is a charm. Jets/Texans Over 34.5, hopefully these teams will have an urgency unlike the Chiefs and Vikings who combined for 3 points.

On SFTC, I got the win last night with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Golf is the smart pick, but I am going with Nigeria next. After that it gets dicey. I am trying to decide which side is best in the Spain U20 v Brazil U20 soccer match. I may just skip that one but I am leaning Spain. The sides appear even.

 Tonight, I like the Houston Dynamo Win over the Portland Timbers pick the best even though Portland gets the Draw option. I see HOU winning by a 1-0 or 2-1 score.

 I feel it is best to avoid the Rockies/ Cards. I really think the Rockies have a good shot at upsettting them. Jackson has never beaten the Rox. Rogers ERA may be high, but he does win some games. It is a classic situation to avoid.

*forgot to mention that the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are my favorite CFL team. Congrats to them on their blowout victory over the BC Lions.

OK- So I get that the Yankees game is PPD due to rain; but is there any logical reason why our freaking picks are stuck pending on them ALL DAY? I mean really? I for one am ready to move on and pick for tomorrow! It is like we are being punished for not checking the weather reports!

Yeah I have been doing pretty good with golf.....lol

Wish I could say the same with baseball

I do have the 2 favorite angle that has hit everytime  (knock on wood)

other than that I find it very difficult to find angles with baseball that stay consistent.......

I will continue to record results on baseball but at this time of year its pennant race time so if its not my 2 favorite angle I say take the Yanks you know they will at least make the playoffs

My sport has always been football and I always have a winning season money wise in football....even though some weeks are brutal (lol)

I hope I can find some angles for football this is my first year trying to come up with my own angles and trends so it should be fun

GL today guys...

 remember if you play the inning props they are 50/50 when it comes to trends or angles.....so if you dont have the time to watch the game and pick before it locks then pass

If Duffman keeps his lead in golf ....I will watch game and see if the 8th inning prop is worth picking

Yeah they have always done that
you get 1 pick for the day whether it plays or not but when its PPD hours before scheduled 1st pick would it kill them to let you still pick?

Its like the % crap......shouldnt matter how many people take a team with the ones you have to choose from.....I have seen a team get hammered action wise only for the team to lose

This is what makes football better for this contest........all kinds of spreads and totals to pick from

soon we will see 60-80 choices on a SAT afternoon.....woohoo!!!!!!

You know youre running good betting when the team you bet on (milwaukee) scores the game tying run the batter after what should have been the 3rd out in the 8th inning strikes out but a passed ball lets him get to first, and the next batter singles home the guy at 3rd.  Then the team wins in extra winnings.  I should buy whoever was looking out for me today a beer (or 10)

I am not asking for another pick for today. I am fine with that rule. I was pissed because the baseball lines had been released  for tomorrow and yet at that time our Yankees pick was still pending. When a game is PPD they should give you a Push within 15 minutes, in my opinion. Instead, they made us wait at least five hours! That is longer than if the game had actually been played. That was my point.

We potentially could have missed out on some good lines during the unnecessary delay in them giving us the push. It is not a big deal, it is just one of those little things that makes no sense and causes frustration.
