Monday - France and Germany are obviously big faves here and on paper both should win but Nigeria and Algeria have both shown ability to give the big guns a match.

France are -1 and Germany are -1.5 on the handicaps ; Its a big ask for European teams in this tournament to win by 2 especially against non European teams in the heat and humidity of Brazil.

For both games, I'm doing a play that cashes for me week in week out in the EPL.

France to win by one goal is 13/5 and Germany to win by one goal is a similar price at 11/4.

Its a value play and remember the team just wants to qualify for the next round, we're no longer in the group stages so there's no incentive to run up a score for goal difference purposes.

pure, this was a very tough game to cap, just be grateful you werent on the ML parlay like most of the squares were.

so France got the 2nd in injury time and Germany won by 1 in extra time, thats prop betting for you but I have France to go out in the QF's and Germany to go out in the semis so I was happy with today's results.
