This jet has a desk. Don't you know this administration values efficiency

Of course you skipped over the $11.5 million painting. The point Stu is this; All these gifts were given to Presidents for the country. And as I said, if Trump uses it for personal use then there is an issue.
So "we" use it for official use and then give it back. Trump leaves office and see if they give it back to him as a private citizen.
Problem solved

The purpose for the forum is not to go into threads and taunt as the majority of the purpose of posting. Add value and create discussion or just go in the box and show boat I agree.
Preaches in this thread about political hypocrisy as reason to not take the plane and then also says hold my beer.

Disclaimer for Uniman: "Uniman has admitted that he is on this site to stir up trouble and doesnt care if hes right or wrong. His own words. "
This is an obvious personal attack and lible. A repeated violation of site rules. WALLSTREET, IF YOU DO NOT DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, I WILL!
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO could be the funniest post i have ever seen on Covers. Am just reminding other posters who you are with your own damn words.
You have been watching trump to much, with your lible non sense post. Since you dont even know how libel is spelled, am 100 percent you dont have a clue as to what it means. Heres a thought go get yourself a lawyer, cause i love when magas lose their money, no better feeling.
Just so you know there is no libel when another person repeats what the person said. Maybe you shouldnt have told everybody on covers that you are a troll that loves to cause trouble. Am sure Covers is also shaking in their boots. Hopefully your post will be the one that finally sending you packing from this forum, cause you bring nothing but trouble with you.

No harm to the country? Is that based on you having your team of experts look over the plane for every type of security breech. Why exactly does your idol need this plane, that wont even be done before he leaves office? So us real tax payers can pay for the plane getting fixed, then trumper can walk out the door with basically a brand new jet?

@cd329 So your big fear is the burden on future tax payers and our inability to discover potential spyware?
LMFAOOOOOOOOOO Lot more things, but tryin g to explain this to a die hard maga trumper is next to impossible and quite honestly if you cant see the troubles with this, then some stranger on the internet is gonna change your mind.
Itrs not spyware like you get on your computer and for the record every person that is an expert on security matters is very worried, but hey some poster on Covers sports forum knows more.
Yes am concerned about us real tax payers footing the bill for a plane that will not be of any service to our country while trump is in office and plane wont be ready for service until the day trump leaves office. So he will basically leave office with a new plane paid for by all us dumb tax payers. In a time when the magas and republicans are non stop crying about wasting money and destroying families, were gonna spend over 500 million dollars so the piece of crap criminal con artist can fly to his golf courses to cost us even more money. Lets make sure that plane is filled with nothing but luxury for don the con. While were at it, lets make a special room on the plane and trumper can call it the EPSTEIN room in honor of his good pedophile friend

Blessed? That's a little dramatic don't you think? Anyway...
Maybe it's just me, but I've never received a "gift" that cost me money to retrofit & not able to use it for years. When I was a kid, my brother gave me his old golf clubs & it didn't cost me a dime. In the case of this jet, we are talking a lot more than a dime. In fact experts are not in a position to determine how much it will cost to secure its use in the AF1 fleet. The golf clubs I received were 5 years old & ready to use unlike this 12 year jet that is no longer manufactured & on the sales lot for over 5 years. Sometimes free gifts end up costing tons of money.
Extensive work & money will be spent on this jet while Boeing plans to deliver 2 new AF1 planes in 2027. Trumpy will make sure he gets his new toy before he receives the Boeing birds whether the gift plane is secure or not. Sounds like a waste of time & money to me. A civilian aircraft will take significant modifications before it can be considered secure so says Troy Meink, Air Force secretary. With an administration that preached a reduction in government spending, this seems like a boondoggle to me.
The funds for this hypocrisy will come from us, the taxpayers while the new proposed budget bill reduces Medicaid assistance to millions of Americans. This is not a "one time" cost as staffing & equipment etc will cost approximately 135 million per plane per year.
Little Donnie Do Nothing shouldn't feel Qatar thinks he's special. They gave away jets to Erdogan, Saleh & even Saddam Hussein. Qatar gives away planes like other countries give away medals. Only stupid people would turn down a "free" jet, right?

Thank You for this very well written post Sad part is even thou everything you wrote is so true, you couldnt get 1 maga to agree with you. Only way a maga would ever agree you were right is if DON THE CON CAME OUT AND SAID " I thought long and hard about this plane stuff and its totally wrong" Then you would see magas all across the country telling Qatar to stick their plane where it doesnt shine. We dont need your stinking gift This is the only way

@Calde13 "Trump doesn’t really resemble Hitler -" Finally, some middle ground. 3.9 billion for a Boeing in 2027 or maybe something different?
Well sure Trump is doing a few things that resembles Hitler before he went completely of the rail - but yeah Trump reminds me more of Putin etc. I don’t like Trump not one slightly bit - but he hasn’t killed 6 million+ J.ews yet - so maybe a bit extreme to make a 1-to-1 between the two and call him Hitler - but wasn’t it you that did that?
