    German Chancellor Scholz was visiting the Whitehouse this past week with NO press and NO scheduled news releases....

    A few days later the NYT released this story....

    “Intelligence Suggests Pro-Ukrainian Group Sabotaged Pipelines, U.S. Officials Say,” appears intended to exonerate both the U.S. and Ukrainian governments from any involvement in the destruction last September of the Nord Stream gas pipelines between Russia and Germany.

    The thrust of the Times article is that Ukrainians unaffiliated with the Kiev government were the ones who did it, according to the newspapers often cited, unnamed “U.S. officials.”

     The Times then makes clear what the consequences would be for the pro-Ukraine “coalition” that Washington has built in the combined West if there was Ukrainian government involvement.

    “Officials said there were still enormous gaps in what U.S. spy agencies and their European partners knew about what transpired. But officials said it might constitute the first significant lead to emerge from several closely guarded investigations, the conclusions of which could have profound implications for the coalition supporting Ukraine.

    Any suggestion of Ukrainian involvement, whether direct or indirect, could upset the delicate relationship between Ukraine and Germany, souring support among a German public that has swallowed high energy prices in the name of solidarity.”

    translation;

    German withdrawal from the West's relentless support of The Ukraine is going to be the first domino in the beginning of the end to this conflict.  The attack on NS supply lines was a direct attack on Germany's sovereign ability to provide the best possible / most efficient energy for its' people.  It would be of disastrous consequence if this blame were to lie at the feet of the United States.  Much better to place the blame on "rogue" Pro Slava Urkaini forces, no matter how unrealistically dumb their story may sound.

    The military industrial complex will still keep this thing going as long as they can to keep the money laundering faucet on before Blackrock & Co. comes in for the "rebuild" of that Country, then part II begins where the money faucet continues under the guise of "infrastructure rebuild".

    It's good to see Germany to send it's Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine in just a couple of week.

    German tanks have already entered Ukraine earlier sent by Poland. Also, other countries like Finland, Sweden and Spain will follow up and do the same. One on one, German Leopard 2 will give hard time for the Russian T-model tanks.

    "Imagine a boxer who cannot move freely in the ring, but only in one direction," Yohann Michel, a research analyst for defence and military affairs at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, said. "The other boxer, who can move in all directions, has a big advantage and that it is the case with the Leopards."*

    Lindsey Graham is not taking DeSantis’s Ukraine statement well. “The Neville Chamberlain approach to aggression never ends well,” said Graham, comparing DeSantis to the British prime minister who appeased Adolf Hitler.

    Nice of Lindsey to help make the point that Ronnie Whiteboots has a Putin problem. Would’ve probably helped if he didn’t do his utmost for the bronzer-stained loser who would hand Ukraine over on a silver platter though.

    Backlash from Rubio, Haley, McConnell and other republicans disagreeing with DeSantis.  He doesn't know that US national security begins with its allies. Trump solution to the war is to let Putin conquer Ukraine.  But Russia's european neighbors know well they may be invaded next because of Putin's ambition to restore old soviet union.  History shows appeasing bullies only encourage them toward more aggression.

    Trump's solution to Ukraine was NEVER let the war get started in the first place. (And you know it)

    Thousands killed, millions displaced, cities in ruins appear to be what democrats want and more of it. The Graham's and McConnell's of the Republican Party are dinosaurs about to become extinct.

    The narrative of Putin wanting to re-build the Iron Curtain is one of the biggest propaganda loads of BS out there.....  I wish I could find my old post on my prediction of what was going to happen with the conflict.

    Essentially it was that there would eventually be a cease fire that gave the Dontesk regions that Russia invaded (now has control over) to Russia through referendum of the people, same as what happened with Crimea in 2014.  "Select" Eastern block regions of Ukraine would go to Russia control so that their is essentially a new land buffer between old Ukraine and Russia.....and some new resolution of Ukraine not joining NATO would be enacted.  Kiev stays with Ukraine, the vast majority of the Country stays as is.  That is increasingly looking like the likely outcome.

    @UNIMAN

     And how was the POS going to stop the war from starting? Give some Ukrainian land to the Russians? Gimmie a break..

    On a new development, Poland’s president says his country plans to give Ukraine a dozen MiG-29 fighter jets. It would become the first NATO member country to fulfill the Ukrainian government’s increasingly urgent requests for warplanes & their pilots are familiar with these jets. Thus, no delayed learning curve.

    14 March, which said that a Russian Su-27 fighter jet damaged an American MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance and strike UAV over the Black Sea during an interception, as a result of which the drone had to be sunk.

    The US National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby, noted that while Russian intercepts of US aircraft over the Black Sea are not uncommon, Tuesday's episode was unique regarding how "dangerous, unprofessional and reckless" Russia’s actions were.

    The Ministry of Defence of Russia stated on Tuesday evening that their Su-27 fighter jets had nothing to do with the crash of the MQ-9 Reaper American UAV in the Black Sea.

    Ukrainian defense support Russian abnormal movement of their navy in what's regarded as a search and seizure of the drone....

    @Midnight1

     Funny how many conveniently forget the US under Obama helped and supported an insurrection of a democratic elected president of Ukraine in 2014. Then you wonder why regions like the Dunbas are rising up and fighting for their beliefs and Crimea gets annexed. This fighting has been going on since 2014. The people had elected a president and others then removed him.

    Talk about propaganda, just read our media's take on it. "Putin masses troops at the border and says he won't invade but he lied and did,"

    There was no hint of Putin invading Ukraine during the Trump Admin. Biden says pubicly "Putin has no soul, he is a thug", before being elected. Right after taking office Joe calls Zelensky and the next day three Ukraine TV stations are shutdown by the so called "democracy" government. The push for corrupt Ukraine to join NATO gains strength. Putin had troops massed for over 10 months trying for a resolution, but oh no, Joe is going rub Putin's nose in the dirt no matter how many millions displaced or killed.

    Make no mistake, Russia was pushed into this conflict. Absolutely no hint of peace talks by the US, EVER.

    Everything Trump was accused of, dictator, war monger, etc, the Left really is. It's pathetic!

    This would be a great thing for Ukraine.

    That a brokered peace deal was negotiated.

    With the EPIC failure in leadership in Washington over the last 20 years...

    Someone must rise to the level of peace maker in this worlds stage...

    G.w. bush weopons of mass destruction in Iraq no weopons were found Donald trump's timeline of withdrawal from Afghanistan and the fiasco of withdrawal from diplomacy.

    The republicans refusal to pay it's bills and the massive shocks to the worlds finical systems caused by the do nothing Congress in the last 2 decades... Bidens limited cognitive skills and two parties bent on ruining America's monetary systems.

    So they can blame the other party has left a power vacuum that china emerges as the worlds equity and government stabilizer. Is hard to fathom from many Americans....

    But it all points to that bejing has become the finical and diplomats leader in the world....

    If bejing can create peaceful resolution to this nightmare it is by far better for Ukrainian citizens.... We have to wait and see what transpires.

    "International Criminal Court members issue arrest warrant for Putin over war crimes"

    International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant Friday for Russian President Vladimir Putin and an official in his office responsible for children's rights because of their alleged involvement in the unlawful deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children from occupied areas of Ukraine to Russia.*

    *https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/international-criminal-court-members-issue-arrest-warrant-for-putin-over-war-crimes/ar-AA18L0Le?cvid=0cf2a494f2654143f7e1ac76d8b15d4a&ocid=winp2fptaskbarhover&ei=8

    It appears highly unlikely that Vladimir Putin will get arrested from this warrant at this point, however he could be held accountable in the future. Those people who have committed the Balkan war crimes have been brought to justice many years after.

    Since diplomacy is the only alternative to a costly war, the world and especially Ukraine welcome peace overtures.  China is probably the only country with both diplomatic ties with and economic leverage over Russia.   However past attempts have failed.  Organization for security in Europe reports that 85% of ceasefire violations since 2014 are committed by Russian backed separatists in eastern Ukraine.   In 2021, no peace deal from US-Russia meeting in Geneva.  Ukraine offer to not seek NATO membership didn't prevent Russian invasion.  In 2022, several meetings between western and Russian diplomats failed to ease tensions.

    Russian propaganda spread much disinformation. There was no coup.  Obama state department policy wasn't regime change in Ukraine.  Republicans complain that US didn't do much.  A series of events lead to the ousting of president Yanukonych.  Amid pressure from Russia, he changed his mind and rejected economic agreement with European union. This lead to months of large peaceful protests.  After violent crackdowns, parliament including members of his own party turn against him.  He signed an agreement to bring about an interim government before fleeing to Russia.  Parliament voted to fire him for neglecting duties.   Ukraine court issued an arrest warrant for the mass killing of protesters.  Later, he was convicted of treason.   After ouster of puppet president, Russia invaded Crimea  and supported separatists minority in Donetsk and Luhansk.   United nations don't recognize these self-proclaimed people republics.  Nor Russia illegal annexation of eastern Ukraine.

    Horrific that Putin brags about kidnapping Ukrainian children.  Falsely claiming they are abandoned orphans while their parents might still be alive.  They are forcibly deported to Russia to be converted into Russians.  For years, Putin has planned to eradicate Ukraine as an independent nation.  But war isn't a license to target civilians or commit atrocities.
